Quality ergonomic bridle
I was riding my horse in a Micklem bridle which I liked but it always looked a bit chunky on his face so thought I would try this bridle to see what it was like. I honestly couldn't be happier it suits his face more and doesn't look too chunky on him. The leather quality is good, soft and pliable straight from the packaging so no 'bedding in' period. I agree with other reviewers that the sizing is a bit weird but to be honest I found the same issue with my Micklem bridle.

Small fitting
I knew this was small fitting as I ready have the same bridle in full for my mare (15.2 ISH) Magic is usually in small pony. This is pony sized and it is tiny. I had to punch extra holes at the end of the cheek peices and nose bands to get this to fit. However it does stretch and within 2 schooling sessions it was fitting nicely. Again I knew this so took it into account. Having said that they wear well, the horses like the anatomical shape and they scrub up nicely enough for competition. Due to the sizing and stretch I have given this 4 stars

Sizing for this bridle is very small.
My pony has had two other Collegiate bridles in pony size. This model is way smaller, more like a Welsh A size. I have had to return it.

Exactly as described. Great bridle and good value. Horse goes very well in it.

Very good for horses that fuss in their head and mouth
Very good product, only reservation is that sizes can vary. I ordered a cob size for a 15 1 Connie cross and it was too small. The FSIs much better but check pieces a little long.

Nice bridle but these are big made
Nice bridle but REALLY big size. My mare normally struggles with fit (she has a massive head and is 17’1) but this is big on her!Like the bridle though
