Comptoir Sud Pacifique Amour de Cacao Eau de Toilette Spray

I have been wearing this since I was 13! I'm now 60. I'm a creature of habit. I smell like a yummy cookie and everyone says it. My kid's class called me Miss Marshmallow. It is the best period.

This is my favorite gourmand perfume! It’s delicious, with vanilla and chocolate swirled together in a beautiful, long-lasting scent. I love smelling this as I spray it on. It makes me smile every time. There is no heavy musk to this, like so many vanilla scents have these days. Since I am extremely sensitive to musk and floral scents (they cause migraines), it’s nice to have found a perfume that makes me feel sexy, playful, and special. Don’t hesitate— if you love gourmand scents, you won’t be disappointed.

At first it smells a little funny, but then it smells super delicious. I would buy it again.

This perfume is so yummy! Upon first whiff you smell Cocoa Puffs cereal, which who doesn’t like?! Then it softens to a warmer, softer chocolate scent. The way to get it to last and smell on yourself throughout the day is to spray it once, let it set for a bit, then go back and spray again and for me it lasts at least a half day or more. Love this for summer as I can’t stand perfumes that are too floral or too sweet and this gives me a different option! If you are a chocolate lover like me, I highly recommend you give this a try!

Smells so much like hot cocoa. A great scent to wear to bed or on a cold winter day. It’s powdery sweet. Lasts about 3 hours on me. Also, good for layering with woody, cherry or smoky scents.

Difficult to describe this fragrance. But, one can detect the cacao scent immediately. The spray comprises many different notes and is long-lasting. It is truly a sophisticated fragrance not a cheap perfume "smell" by any means.

I’m wary of food scents as they are often artificial or layered w florals. This has a direct sweet chocolate/vanilla. For many hours, I can smell vanilla with an undertone of cocoa. No other scents to muddy the waters! This is the third scent in this company’s vanille line that I’ve tried and loved!

It’s gives off first a chocolate/ cocoa scent then with it being on your clothes for a while it fades to a sweet vanilla

I am a longtime fan of Comptoir Sud Pacifique. I love the vanilla/chocolate smell of this perfume. Very subtle and light, layers very well with Vanilla Extreme.

Eigentlich war das seit einigen Jahren einer meiner Lieblingsdüfte. Ich bin nicht sicher, warum sich das bei jeder Bestellung ändert… Beim ersten Kauf vor längerer Zeit direkt in einer Parfümerie war schon der Flakon aus gebürstetem Metal und wirkte viel edler. Nun habe ich hier schon zwei Mal bestellt, und von Mal zu Mal wirkt nicht nur der Flakon, sondern – VIEL WICHTIGER – auch der Duft immer billiger. Die Kakaonote war früher deutlich reifer und satter, nun werde ich den Eindruck nicht los, das da gepanscht wird. Der Duft etnwickelt sich immer mehr Richtung Billigduft aus dem Drogeriemarkt. Schade, ich bin nicht sicher ob ich ihm hier noch eine weitere Chance gebe. Ansonsten stets schnelle und problemlose Lieferung.
