Worth the price
I mean, it is a renewed product so expectations about this products are in order. But nonetheless, it came well packaged, great shape (no dents or scratches), with its power cord. The device plugged and played right away no issues whatsoever. Works great with Dell Latitude 5530 running on 58 watts, hdmi and hardwire internet line works just fine. Note aside, if you use a laptop with a higher power demand (e.g. my other Dell Latitude 5501 is running on 65 watts) this docking will not work properly like it won't charge your laptop, might be able to use it as usb hub though. Still, for the time being you can unplug the power cord of the docking and use to support the 65 watts demand if necessary.

Excellent!!
Works great! Came in excellent condition. The only way I could tell it was used was that it didn't come with the original packaging, and the power cord was tied up with a household rubber band. I have it tucked under my standing desk with all the cables so my desk looks clean, and I can leave my laptop power supply in my backpack. When I need to go somewhere, I just unplug the one USB-C cable from the dock, and I'm done. Easy peasy! I wish I had got this a long time ago!

connection from docking station to laptop
I like the product a lot it works well and it's compact but at the same time the lighting cable from the docking station to the laptop is very loose after I got my laptop repaired

Periodically stops working
For the first time, I purchased a renewed product from Amazon. Upon receiving, it appeared new and worked perfectly. After less than six months, it has randomly started to either disconnect entirely (no charging nor connection to other devices through the dock) or it simply won’t project to my second screen. It’s definitely not the computer as it works perfectly with my dock at work.

The docking station is good.
The docking station is good. I used it with my laptop Dell Precision 3350. It worked well. I replaced power supply to 180 watt because I wanted to use single power supply for both laptop and docking station. The supplied 130 watt acceptable, But upon connection the laptop issue warning and madee it work slower.

I was out of ports!!!
Between external mouse/keyboard/printer, HDMI monitor, I was out of ports for even a USB flash drive. Picked this up to use through the C-port, and bam, it actually worked. Who woulda thunk? I still have 2 free usb ports in the dock, and all of my laptop ports. Handy!!!

Power supply completely dead on arrival.
Purchased a "Renewed" Dell docking station and the power supply was completely dead out of the box. It highly unlikely it just stopped working in transit so I can only assume they never actually tested it. Since this was a "renewed" product , I called the number on the support card found in the box. I reached some guy that sounded like he was in his living room and he seemed confused about why I was calling. I confirmed that I dialed the correct number. Very bizarre to say the least. I then called Amazon and they basically referred me to the seller. No help at all. This experience makes me very weary about purchasing future renewed products from Amazon. The good news is the dock worked great after I replaced the power supply on my own.
