I ordered this for my husband who has tons of watches. The drawback from having tons of watches is battery replacement along with watch band sizing. The kit came in a nice enough case trying to mimic a small metal briefcase. Upon opening all the pieces were securely fastened in the hard foam cut outs and slots. So secure that he has to use his pocket knife to pop out the pieces. The first thing he noticed was there were no instructions or descriptions of the tools that came with the case. His thoughts are that if you are going to fix a watch you best know what you are doing before starting. He has lost a bunch of weight recently and none of the watches with steel bands fit. He has gone through most of his watches and removed a link or more and put them back together with no problem. He says that being able to do that has paid for the kit as well as saving money from taking watches to the local jeweler. Removing the back of a watch to replace a battery was a bit of a challenge. The supplied tools are not jeweler quality however he eventually got the back off of a Luminox watch without scratching the casing. Please understand that each little bit and piece that comes with the kit is counted as part of the total pieces. In his particular kit there is a container that has several small bits and pieces. Even the plastic container is counted as a piece. In general, he is pleased with it because he can fix his watch bands. He has some watches he will not risk opening and says that he will still visit the local jeweler for these jobs.

This kit has everything you need to fix your watches and replace your batteries. I love the briefcase and the look it has. I hate tools flopping around in a bag. I was specifically looking for a watch tool kit that was in some sort of hard case, and this was the only one. I do not regret the purchase. I am only giving it four stars however because some of the tools feel flimsy for the price, and one of them broke on me, but they are sending a replacement. It's a great set though, and worth the $40 over the bags of redundant tools that say "150 piece set" because they stuck a bunch of watch pins in there.

I started to replace my own watch batteries because at $10 a pop it got to be kind of expensive with my having 20 watches. My wife started to help me and she did a better job than I did so I bought the kit for her. So now she not only replaces The batteries in our watches but also mom and dad’s as well.

Comes with lots of tools allowing you to repair many aspects of a watch.

I use it for watches that were hard to work on with a lesser tool kit. Particularly getting the backs off to change batteries. Lots of tools in a fairly sturdy case.

No instructions, not under foam packaging. Looked like a return. I paid for new. Not happy at all.

Overall nice product. The watch case opener wrench is big enough to work with big watches, the screw that goes into wrench to open the case are also well made.
