Nice tool. Gives you a nice spread

Properly shaped and typical filling knife grip. Blade could be more flexible and had to remove some cutting burr on one side. Regardless good value for money & alot better priced than a trade decorator centre.

To the other reviewers who criticised the fact that the blade goes rusty - the product description clearly stresses that it is made from carbon steel which is NOT stainless steel. And carbon steel (which has the necessary flex and springiness for this tool) does indeed go rusty if not dried after washing off the plaster residue. So the poor reviews are due to the ignorance of the buyers, not any fault of the product (which is old-school excellent).

This is a beautiful looking product. But thats only positive I can muster about it.The problem is the metal that is sandwitched between the wooden handle sticks out and sharp to the touch.It really is rough and I really am anoyed. Using this product would make your hands really sore after short space of time.Why hasn't anyone pointed this out before it's shipped and sold to a customer.What a let down. Hopefully I can send it back and get refund.

There was a slight burr on the edge of the knife. No big deal.
