It's just big enough for a couple of chickens, so I gave it to my guinea pigs and they love it. Review: Great chicken coop - Please ignore the harsh reviews. For the cost that I paid I'm extremely happy. Keep in mind this coop isn't made with 2x4's If it was, this coop would cost much more. I decided to anchor it to a couple 2x4 for extra weight and to protect the coop bottom section from rotting in the near future. I installed a heater, and the food and water is hanging inside the top section. Perfect coop for a single bird or a pair of small chickens

Good size for 2-4 chickens.
I liked this small chicken coop. For first timers, it works well! Goes together easy and fast. Looks great and the chickens love it!

Not even for bantams.
It worked as a temporary housing but not for the life time of the bird. Two average size chickens can barely fit with minor aggression, highly wouldn't recommend but out everything available its the only one worth its price.

Way Too Small
Too small. We have chicks now but there is no way fully sized chickens will fit it there. MAYBE 1 would fit. Low to the ground and extremely difficult to access the chickens. The door is too small to even get their food and water through. The ramp broke the first day. Way overpriced for what it is.

At the end of the day the small unit is perfect.
I'm using this for to bantam chickens and think that I can fit up two maybe three . For a person who has a medium level skill of following instructions and some DIY skills the second was perfect. this unit got put together flawlessly, and was not shabby at all. I did not wait five stars because the screws that hold the latter, and the back lid are too small and chew through the wood with hardly no grip. also the instructions particularly for the final step or two of installing the roof we're not clear.

Nice beginner coop
My mother and I put this together within an hour or two. It’s easy to get a piece or two turned the wrong way. Just be sure to pay attention to directions. Overall, not super difficult to figure out and very cute, sturdy coop for a couple chickens.

Picture is deceiving
When comparing the house to the chickens in the picture, the house appears to be taller than it actually is. In the picture, the chickens must be tiny statues. The house is so short that it is hard to get the waterer and feeder inside and does not leave any room for the chicken to move around in. I do not recommend this house.
