I have been looking for these for a long time. I have 1 pair and am always using them both inside and outside. They are great for cooking, reaching items on top shelves in cabinets, and cooking on grill. I love the coated handles. Now I have a pair hanging in my pantry, a pair for cooking inside and a pair for grilling outside. All hung in their appropriate area so I don't have to go look for them. I might even reorder for my bathroom pantries.

I'll start by saying that these do everything I need them to, including taking down stuff from very tall shelves (most of what I need them for). My boyfriend, however, uses them to flip steaks and such, and says that they feel a little flimsy. I'm not sure if that's him manhandling them, but they lose a point for the durability there. That being said, they're so long! Like almost comedically long. Great for staying away from hot pans (and reaching the lentils on the top shelf).

So the headline...I'm an occupational therapist and I help people complete activities of daily living, one of which includes toileting. These work as a great hygiene aid at an affordable price...medical equipment companies sell this same thing for over $72 each. I bought these to give to patients and so far they're very sturdy and are doing the job, helping my patients regain their independence while maintaining their privacy in the bathroom...I'm sure they work great for cooking too.

THEY WORK

These could be great if they were just a little more sturdy. Also, the ends aren’t very grippy on raw chicken

Just received them yesterday haven’t tried them but they look exactly like what I expected long handles good grip we’ll see how they can put the meat on that barbecue

These work great for the BBQ.... nice and long saving the hair on my knuckles! Would recommend for sure

Maybe a bit too long but great for reaching the back of the BBQ. Also came very tight for opening and closing. This should losen up with use. Good value.

Really flimsy tongs They don’t stay aligned. Maybe if I tighten the River it will handle better.

I bought this to replace a BBQ tong I used for 10 years. The photo of this looked liked my old one and the price was fair. But the head is is too small and a bit flimsy (cannot scoop a hamburger or big steak). The scissoring joint is also too tight and requires an unusually amount of effort to open and close.
