Absolutely breathtaking and lifelike. Bought for my mommy after her German shepherd passed away and she not only cried, but absolutely loves it. Perfect size fits perfectly with the urn.

I bought this after much searching to stand in memory of the first dog to ever completely steal my heart. He had a lot of black covering his body and this statue not only looks the most like him out of all the GSD products I looked at but it is a great visual representation of his gentle and loving presence. It arrived without any issue and has been perfectly representing him in my little "shrine" to passed pets. It's sturdy, well-packaged, and rather well-made.Literally the only potential complaint I've found so far is that one of his eyes is slightly off-center so I have to place him at certain angles in relation to light sources in order to prevent it from causing odd reflections. It's something that most people likely would never even notice though, and the rest of him is so beautifully made as well that I don't think it would be fair to reduce the product's score over it. Eyes are hard to place at exactly the same angles anyway.

I was beyond ecstatic when I opened this. I highly recommend buying this, you will not be disappointed.

Great attention to detail and very pleased

A beautiful statue that reminded me of my dog. He is no longer with me but this statue bears an uncanny resemblance to him. A beautiful memory piece every time I see it.

Absolutely gorgeous piece. It looks so much like my girl that I lost last summer!! Definitely black & tan, as opposed to black & gray that some have said they've gotten when ordering tan. Beautiful attention to detail - my daughter even commented on the detail of there actually being nails on the paws! Came well packaged in styrofoam; inside the Amazon box could've used a handful of those air bubbles that usually get added, but I wouldn't say it was totally necessary. I was happy to see that the size really is true because it fits perfectly on the shelf I have it on! Solidly constructed, good weight to it. You wouldn't want to get hit in the head with it lol.I honestly cannot say enough good things about this. Whether you're a current or former GSD owner or just a dog lover, this needs to be in your home! Ours watches over us from the bottom shelf in my crafting room! <3

As other reviewers have said, this is a uniquely realistic figurine. If you have owned a GSD, and I have had three, the pose of this figurine is what this elegant species truly does for many hours every day. As to the seller, they are top notch. Unfortunately, my Dog arrived only in a thin styrofoam wrap, enclosed in a USPS envelope which had taken a typical beating in transit. One ear was broken off. I called the next day and was greeted by a very pleasant woman on the phone who said a replacement would be sent (and she would advise their shipper to wrap it more securely). She told me not to bother returning the damaged one. The replacement indeed arrived 48 HOURS later in a sturdier package and the figurine--a birthday gift for my German Shepherd-loving daughter who grew up with these magnificent animals--was perfect. As to the first figurine, I found the missing ear, glued it on, and then made a trip to my nearest Michael's where I purchased model airplane paint. I'm no artist but I was able to camouflage most of the exposed ceramic and we have salvaged this beautiful figurine. If you cherish German Shepherds, get one of these from this merchant for yourself.

It’s a little smaller than i imagined but the quality is nice. Doesn’t look cheap.
