I really recommend getting these red skinned peanuts over plain ones. They are so much better. This is also a good deal and I will definitely purchase again when I finally run out.

I'd been buying bulk peanuts from various vendors over the past year or so but all of them fell short in one way or another; broken pieces, too much oil, poor packaging, questionable freshness, etc. So I was prepared for another disappointment with this one. Surprisingly, I was wholly satisfied. The peanuts arrived well-packaged and in good condition. They were supremely fresh with great crunch and texture and very few broken pieces. No oil on the bag too; these don't seem to be dry roasted (they don't have that slightly desiccated look about them) but they're also not cocktail peanuts (not covered in oil) so their description of simply "roasted" is accurate.I would say "I will buy these again" but I've already reordered twice so....there ya go.

I have purchased these multiple times in the 10 lb. and in the 20 lb. They are a good quality and size peanut. Nicely hulled. They arrive "bulk" packaged in a large plastic bag inside of a cardboard box. Never had any issues with the method of packaging. They have always been fresh and tasty.

These arrived well packaged and fresh. Tasty and delicious and healthy! Much better price than the grocery store.

Economical way to purchase these and they are very fresh and well sealed for shipping.

So in my desire to find a peanut that has a real roasted taste to it, and at a price that isn't "specialty boutique" level, I decided to look on Amazon. Figured a nut shop with good reviews at a comparable price per ounce to the name brands at the grocery store was worth trying. It must be that there is a significant enough cost savings or something about actually roasting the peanuts causes them to go off quicker.... because nobody roasts peanuts like you used to be able to buy them.Alas, these were just warmed up a little once too.Good news is that with my Guormia toaster oven on air fry at 350 for 5 minutes, these are great. Bad news is that I have to roast my "already roasted" peanuts in order to get a roasted flavor.

It would have been nice if the peanut variety was mentioned. These are fine for the price. The roasting is fine also, thank goodness not oily.

I have been buying Planters Unsalted Roasted peanuts in 16 oz. plastic jars - three to four per week. That adds up to a lot of unneeded plastic, even if I recycle. I tried this bulk product to reduce that. I can recycle the cardboard box and use the plastic bag as a trashcan liner. I am very pleased with the product for other reasons as well. As another buyer mentioned, there are virtually no crumbs in this package, as compared to the 5 grams or so of crumbs in one little Planters jar. And the nuts are deliciously roasted and full of flavor. **NOTE: These are unsalted peanuts. If you are not used to unsalted nuts, they will taste bland. That is the nature of this product.** However, if you are on a low-salt diet, these are a wonderful treat! I also limit my sugar intake, so these serve as my snack and dessert as needed.I was not compensated in any way for this review, which is something I always want to know about other reviews.
