Product is just as shown. Love it

I wasn’t really fond of the paint splatter on the outside of the glass. Looks tacky when not lit. Not sure hot well the rope handle will fare outside, but I plan to place it with the other fairy silhouettes in our garden. The good: good quality, warm light with a sizable solar cell, really thick glass and a water tight top with a breathe hole in the bottom. I was sort of annoyed that no effort was made to hide the contents of the package when delivered. So much for the surprise for the spouse. However overall, it was a good purchase for the price. I will have to deal with the weird paint splatter look. It’s unique and I’m not going to find anything else like it anywhere.

I ordered this cute lantern four years ago and it is still going strong! It's outdoors in weather and it still works well.

This fairy light jar is adorable. The light is solar powered but if you use it all night as a nightlight you will probably need to charge it daily or it will be dim. The insructions say to periodically change the rechargable batteries so maybe the ones that come with it are not as good at holding a charge (most batteries that come with any priduct are generic and never last long). I have not tried changing the batteries yet to see if the charge will last longer. It does not seem to be weather proof (the top comes off easily) so I would be hesitant to use it as outdoor decor unless you keep it on a porch or somewhere it would be protected from the rain.

Turns off/on like it should. Solar lasts a long time over night with enough daylight to charge. Fairy picture insert fell off in the jars and needed to be re-glued after a couple days. Needs better drainage design because water accumulates on the edges. Maybe the place of drainage hole needs to be in a different spot? Maybe multiple? Upon delivery the frosted paint was scratched here and there on both lanterns- not totally noticeable at a distance but definitely up close. Overall, just okay. Fun idea, needs improvement
