The product does what it is intended to do. Unfortunately calling it a direct replacement is not quite accurate. You will have to alter the clips that are used on it whether you have to switch them from male to female to fit yours and then even after that your female connector may not be compatible when they're male plug. So you might want to buy some clips electrical clips to go with the stand. I was able to trim the plastic around the clip and make put to meet securely. But it took a little bit of Razor work and a fine Steady Hand. Other than that the motor has been working flawlessly will update at end of first winter. PS also the original motor lasted for 15 years.

This should have been an easy replacement on an American harvest pellet stove. after about 3 years the feed motors on these things tend to go as they are constantly turning, like anything they need to be replaced . 4 bolts -remove spring pin ,remove drive coupler for auger and reverse the procedure to reinstall the new one. wire it up and good to go. we have had this stove for 15 years. done a few ,even one on my parents Harmon stove. .so here is the jab ,these motors are usually good, so I haven't had to return any of them, except this one and I didn't get a full refund to boot, had to argue with amazon. Not Happy. If you look at the photo above ,this is the motor on said stove after about a month. the casing split and the weird thing was that none of the screws were stripped . long story short I re-assembled the motor and fired it up.. it went another week and split again.. thats when I filed for a return as it was right at 30 days or so of use. lost the heat source for another week till i could get a new one and install it. it has been working fine since. the one i returned seemed to have threaded holes that were larger than the screws used to assemble it . they literally just pulled out . I would have not written this review if they had just given me a refund , as it was warranted . but since they balked at the refund ,here I am. "UPDATE" THE NEW ONE THAT REPLACED THIS ONE HAS DONE THE SAME THING. WE LOST OUR HEAT SOURCE - were in maine but thank god its been warmer than usual .. auger spins easily loaded with my fingers so this is a production issue-period. not happy.. see second photo above.. picture is shot thru the side before stove disassembly..

Great replacement for my pellet stove auger motor. Excellent value for the money and much quieter than the original (which had a fan attached). I needed to bring it to a local machine shop to remove the coupling and install on this new motor, because I don't have the punch to do this at home. Quick shipping too!

Bought this only because US made motor was out of stock. Took a whole dammed day to install it because of the design of the stove. It lasted TWO WEEKS!!!!!!! And was dead dead dead....Oh freakin joy, hadda spend more days tearing it back out and on the phone trying to get a US made motor, then another day installing THAT one...GRRRRRRRRRRR
