My son loves these books! He’s 8 and these are his first real chapter books and they have hooked him on reading books without pictures. I think it’s great that an author wrote a series about a popular game because it interests kids more.

Reading for pleasure is a valuable attribute, and can be a challenging one to impart on to young children. Instead of fighting my son's interest in computer games, I have found leveraging that into other interests and passions like reading is more beneficial. The series of books by Winter Morgan using Minecraft are fantastic. My son looks forward to reading them (although he prefers the paperback version to kindle), and often reads them multiple times. Winter Morgan truly has a gift for tapping into the imagination of young boys who love Minecraft through written words.

My 10 year old son says that his book is really good and has some suspense in it. However, he did also say that the plot was very repetitive. Things just kept getting blown up over and over throughout the book. He recommends that you read the previous book in this series prior to this one as this book will not make as much sense without the background knowledge of the previous book.

My 8 y/o daughter loves minecraft and breezed thru this book in a matter of a couple of days. Not a lot of pictures and kept her interest intensely.Before she read this book she was addicted to "Captain Underpants" and "Diary of a Whimpy Kid".This series weeded her of the 'comic book' types and showed her that books without pictures are just as interesting.Two months later she is on to the Harry Potter series!Great 'Gateway' series

My 7 year old daughter has just recently found Minecraft. In an effort to keep her challenged through the game as well as to improve her reading we went searching for any books on the subject for her to peruse as well. I was regaled with story after story about what happened in this book over the course of a week as she re-read it twice. Great book for a younger crowd!

I recommend this book to everyone who likes Minecraft. This is a inspiring book about friends working as a team. I hope you like my review. Please get this book this a good book for kids. I'm only 10 and this book is inspiring. Once again PLEASE get this book I read it as much as possible. Thanks for writing this book I hope you make a part two.

Highly loved by seven year old Minecraft obsessive fan. He liked the mystery of it and that it was a 'real' chapter book. Happy to see him reading it, and most of the kids in his class wanted a turn. Wish the series were a bit more inexpensive.

Bought for my son as he loves minecraft and wanted to encourage him to read more. He devoured it in less than a day!

元々アメリカで出版されている本のイギリス版のようです。見た目がとても気に入って、オリジナルとともに購入しました。装丁も凹版印刷が施されており、オリジナルよりも格好良く感じています。# 中身までは見比べていませんので、ハリーポッターのように使われている単語が違う等はかけませんが...いわゆるシリーズ物ですが、出版されて間もないので（2015/4/15現在）、次を早く読みたい方はオリジナル購入も検討してはいかがでしょうか？
