Easy to insert one pair and clamp it down to hold it, then lift to put the next pair down.
This jack was easy to insert one pair and clamp it down to hold it, then lift to put the next pair down. The hardest part for me was deciding which wiring scheme to use. It doesn't matter to most folks. Just make sure both ends of the cable are wired to the same scheme.I used the 568B format on my pre-installed Cat 6 cable and it worked great.

These conectors are really easy to connect
These connectors are really easy to connect, especially if you follow the advice of a previous reviewer and punch down one pair at a time, lifting the punch down plate between pairs. Also putting a piece of tape around the closed plate will avoid loosening if the cable were pulled up at an angle. My new cable worked the perfectly first time wit these connectors.

Worked great, exactly as expected
Some reviewers have mentioned that a traditional jack that is installed with a punchdown tool is quicker and easier. If you're a professional who does this a lot, and you own a punchdown tool, that's probably true. But if you're a homeowner or hobbyist, and you're going to install one or two of these in a lifetime, this is the way to go.Some people also complained about the difficulty of aligning all the wires before closing the plastic locking top. You don't have to do that. Put one wire (or one pair) in, close the top, and that pair is connected. Open the top, put in the next pair, close the top. Repeat until you've got all 4 pairs done.

Caution!!!! Not for all applications
Size issue: if using decorator keystone plates these will not fit next to one another. Made installing them a bit of a pain. So if you have more than three in a plate stacked you are out of luck. Had to switch to another jack.Install issue: tool-less install though nice was more then a bit of a pain to use in practical application. At a desk it is acceptable, but under one it is not.

First timer, I don't know what I'm doing...
I don't know what I'm doing but managed to get it done. Doing some quick searches helped. The hardest part is the wire connections. But these come with the picture on the jack itself to show you which color goes where. Also it's made so once you line it up you just press down and it does the rest (this is the "no punch tool required", since it's built into the jack). It made it all incredibly easy, I felt super smart. It snaps into a keystone plate easy. All you need to do is maybe peel some of the housing of your ethernet cable to expose wires inside, and figure out if your setup is A or B.

Totally worth it
I was rewiring my existing cat5e telephone lines into RJ45 cables, and this was by far the fool proof way to go. I had the standard connections with a crimper, but I typically never get it right on the first try. Using these connections, I could create a connection extremely fast and have never ran into a scenario where the connection was incorrect. The two issues I had with this system is that the connector can come loose at times, especially when shoving them into the box. To avoid unncessary trouble shooting, electrical tape it shut. The other big issue I had was the size of the connector. A standard keystone patch panel will not fit two of these side by side. In my case, I bought a big enough patch panel to avoid any issues. However this is something to be aware of.

The perfect product!
I've used many different cat6 connectors and this one was by far the easiest to work with. As with all of my installations, I've always used the T568B wiring standard. No punch down tool required and extremely cost effective when compared to other cat6 connectors from retail and box stores. My 23AWG solid, pure bare copper conductor cat6 ethernet cables punched right in with the built in puncher. All connectors worked correctly on first try for a 1 gigabit network. Will definitely purchase more. I will look to purchase more in larger bulks.

Easy to install once you figure out how to use it
This is my first time using this design of RJ45 connector. In the past, I have used one that you crimp down one wire at a time with a tool. This one is actually quite easy to install. All you have to do is put one wire in and then close the clear cover. This action will crimp down on the wire. Open the clear cover and do the next wire. Keep doing it for all 8 wires. It's pretty fast since you don't need to use any special tools. All the connectors I installed work the first time. The keystone design fits perfectly in the wall plate

Don’t fit in a patch panel
These don’t fit side by side in a standard keystone patch panel. You have to leave space between each module. Fortunately I didn’t have many cables to terminate.
