RapidFix UV Fiber Repair Patch 3"x 6"

Accidentally made a gash in shipping container. Other options for fiberglass patches required handling of chemicals and mixing and seemed very messy and time consuming. This was so easy. Took it into a dark bathroom and cut it lengthwise to better fit the gash Then put it back in the mylar bag to protect it from hardening in uv before I was ready to apply. Be aware it does have a very strong smell. I cleaned the area I was applying it, let it dry, took the strip out I cut and pressed it down all around very well then the next strip and overlapped a bit and pressed it down. Within minutes it was hardened and sealed the area. I haven't bothered to paint or anything and it's holding up well and remaining stuck on and sealed. Had it in place for almost 3 months in texas heat and storms with no concerns

We have a fifth wheel RV. We had one screw under the cap area that was overtightened when the fifth wheel was manufactured. I had our service center look at it when we went in for service, and they just put a big washer over it to cover the spidered-cracked area. This did not stop the spidered cracks from spreading out. I didn't want to buy fiberglass cloth and resin because that would just be too messy to apply and finish. I found this item, and what a great product. I applied the patch over the spidered cracked area, hit it with UV light, and it adhered and cured perfectly. This was easy and effective. If I ever need another fiberglass patch, I will be buying this again.

Arrived timely applied to my flat bottom boat which is plastic and has adhered so far but haven't tested it yet hardened well and formed easily enough have bought more to repair the shower pan in our RV wich will arrive tuesday time will tell

Easy to use and solid once dry

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this product in March and it has been stored in a cabinet out of the sun and in a climate controlled environment. Today I attempted to used the product only to find that it was dry and would bot adhere to the repair. I followed the directions on the back of the package and tried apply the product out of the sunlight. I peeled the backing and it had no adhesive and was somewhat dry and crumbly. The packaging had no holes in it and I believe the product was defective. I had high hopes in this product but after my experience I would not recommend.

This product works really well. I was surprised how easy it was.Shout out to my husband for the paint job on the kayak.I bought it to fix a squirrel chewed kayak, but also used it on a cracked garden cart, which is repaired so well that it holds water again.Definitely recommend. Well worth the price.
