I use these pins for knitting markers and seem to lose them regularly! I prefer metallics to the rainbow assortments that are more common. These were a good value and the pins seem like the same quality I usually see everywhere. Glad I will not run out for a while!

I love these little “gourd” pins for my papercrafting. I used them to attach charms to junk journals, to attach to paper tags via a small grommet, pin charms and tassels to handmade bookmarks, etc. This package has give different “finishes”, perfect for all your needs. Getting 1000 in the package also makes it fun to share with my crafty friends and I still have a ton left.Great value, great quality, great price!

The pins seem mostly good quality and I like having the variety of tones. The description says one of the colors is copper but it’s actually very dark bronze, which I prefer anyway. It looks bronze in the photo. All the colors are pretty much as show in the photo. The nickel, however, has a lot of scratches or places where the color isn’t covering fully while none of the other colors have this issue. And I would describe the color more like charcoal grey than nickel.I usually count my inventory upon receipt, but I had no desire to count 1,000 pins! But I did want to ensure I had enough of the bronze because they mattered the most to me, so I went ahead and counted those. It came in 2 short of 200. Not terrible, but usually manufacturers throw in a couple extra when the items are small and the quantities high. So I wanted to test that theory. When my next favorite color was also off, I became obsessed and had to keep counting until the count was in my favor (kind of like playing the slots in Vegas). But all the colors were short except the last bag I counted — the gold, my least favorite. But it was only 2 over which in no way made up the shortage. Either the miscount is intentional, the counting mechanism/scale needs to be recalibrated, or someone returned the set after removing several pins and the seller resold them. Whichever the case and however tiny the shortage, it isn’t good business practice.So although the pins seem to be good quality, between the slight defect in the finish on the nickel/dark grey pins and the slight shortage, I’m inclined to deduct 1 star.

For my crafting...I could get a dozen for $7 or $8 from a craft store OR purchase this package of 1;000 metal gourd pins for $8.49 from Firefly Sewing on Amazon...it was a no-brainer! I now have 200 each of silver, black, bronze, gold, and rose gold for just about the same price as a dozen at a craft store! They seem to be of equal quality! Happy customer! Will I purchase again? Yes, but I probably won’t have to for a very long time.
