I bought these tablets because this is ubiquinol coQ10 for dogs, not the cheaper and less effective ubiquinone. And I'm happy I did it. My dog was neutered when he turned 11 and because of his age he underwent a complete cardiac evaluation before the surgery. Then 4 weeks later he developed a heart murmur and suffered a stroke. In hindsight, he should never have been put through the surgery, because the loss of testosterone immediately led to health complications which I now know are well known side effects of neuter surgery in male canines. All the same, the damage was already done and my vet recommended getting him started on Coenzyme Q10 and it was a good call. For as long as he gets his one tablet per day, he has no cough and shows no signs of hard breathing or fluid build-up. Moreover, it has kept the soft tissue in his mouth healthy and he has a fresh breath as well. Unfortunately, the stroke has left his tongue paralyzed, which has made it very difficult for him to take any pills or to eat, so I break the tablets and mix them up with his homemade meal. I am hugely impressed with how this supplement has helped preserve his dental health, in addition to the other benefits, and am now starting my other dog on it because her breed is prone to premature teeth loss and dental disease, even if you do the annual cleanings. I am truly glad that my vet suggested we use Coenzyme Q10 and recommend it to everyone whose dog suffers from cardiac or dental issues.

Even though it's early, I've only given my 8 and 1/2 year old chihuahua, Gizmo, 2 and 1/2 pills as the product just arrived Tues night. He has a Grade 4 heart murmur, was very despondent, not eating, hardly walking on our daily walks, but just tonight he ate all his food ( Dr. Marty's) and is much more active and engaged. I attribute this change to the coenzyme Q10 for dogs. I will update in a couple of weeks, but I purchased this product based on the other positive reviews. This is amazing!

I've been on CoQ10 myself for several months and it has changed my life. My poor little dog has a stage 6 heart murmur and she recently took a serious turn for the worse. Her appetite was waning, she was losing weight, her congestive heart failure was getting worse. We were just so sad because it was apparent she would not be with us much longer. Then it suddenly occurred to me to see if CoQ10 was an option for dogs. I did a little research, jumped on Amazon and bought this product. She started taking it the next day and within 48 hours we could see that she was feeling much better. She started eating again, even begging for food. She chases the cat again and loves to go for her morning walk. Her coughing has improved and I no longer feel like we're going to lose her any day now. She also takes a full battery of Rx meds but this CoQ10 had a very noticeable effect on her well being right from the start.

Purchased for senior dog DX Lar Par! Can't judge effectiveness yet... We have a senior dog just diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis and heard this was a must to help them with breathing. The price a bit high, but if it works, we'll be happy. However, though our dog has been on this now for over three months, we really can't judge its effectiveness yet. How can we? just the same, we'll keep making the purchase in hopes it is working for our dog.

My 13 year old dog is on low fat diet. This replaces the things missing in her diet. Has helped her immensely.

We have just started using it so I am hopeful it will help my dog. I take the human form and it works for me. Wish we had started it at least a year or two ago.

I have purchased this product (Ubiquinol) many times over the past few years. However my last purchase had a very strong objectionable odor unlike any previous containers. So I called the manufacturer to ask for a replacement. I called several times and had to leave messages. Nobody answers the phone and nobody returned my calls. So I now question the quality of this product and the integrity of the manufacturer. I have also used several other products from this company. They are expensive so I assumed good quality. However after this experience I will never purchase from this company again. I live on a fixed income and cannot afford to throw money away. The one star is for customer service. THERE IS NONE.
