Bright, silent and mostly easy installation
The tubes came in the most rigid box I have ever seen. Compared to the other LED tube lights I have bought, this gave me a lot of confidence that the tubes were undamaged in shipping. The lights were easy to install (required ballast bypass). They are bright and silent as expected. I used the Wago connectors rather than wire nuts to do the ballast bypass,, something I would advise if you are wiring them overhead without taking them down. Its lots easier to do use these connectors overhead. All ten lights worked. I don't yet have any evidence for how long they will last. One interesting observation: three of the ten lights I installed did not originally work correctly. I traced down the issue to the fact that the bulbs were not making firm contact to both ends of the fixture. Putting shims in the tombstones to push them towards each other solved the problem. I wonder if the lights were just a tiny bit shorter than the fluorescent tubes they replaced.

Very bright "Sun Light"
T12 8' fluorescent bulb replacement very bright, like {Sun Light} in my shop, I can see much better. One bulb takes the place of two old bulbs plus they save me on my electric bill. You can turn the ends to cast the light where you went it most, make sure you do both ends first before you install the bulb. Very happy with this purchase. I would buy again and recommend to others.

8' LED replacements for florescent tubes
The media could not be loaded. Easy to rewire. Once rewired, they are a direct plug and play for the old tubes. The 8 foot LED did seem to sag a bit in the middle. I remedied this by running a zip tie loosely around the fixtures once the bulbs were installed. The light is a very white light and does an awesome job of lighting this place up.As mentioned in the video, if they're in your line of sight, get the frosted lens cover.

What an improvement
My garage had a bunch of glass bulbs and the ballasts made all kinds of noise with a bit of a flicker. Now i have no hum, and the overall space is probably 3-4 times brighter.Since I can turn them a bit, I have them shining on pegboards and storage areas nicely so i can read the labels much easier than before. It may sound silly, but the box these get shipped in is like a tank. You could stand on it and jump up and down and it probably won't break. The bulbs are nowhere near as fragile as a glass bulb but it is really a great box. It's also kind of sleek. I was surprised to see how narrow it was for 10 bulbs.Wiring was somewhat straight forward but will depend on your existing enclosure. I had a mixture of complexities in my setup. The rule of thumb for me was to have the hot wire (black) feed any existing contact on one end and the neutral wire (white) feed the contacts on the other. The ballast should be cut out completely with no wire hookups at all. You can leave it in the fixture if you want, but nothing should be wired on it. You can then use the wires you cut out to rewire it. Wago connectors (search for them) make rewiring them much easier.I wish they had smaller sets you could by. I needed 16 so I had to buy 20. I have 4 leftovers. That's a bit excessive, It would be better if I had 2 leftovers for the future but not a big deal since the storage box is slender. There is printed instructions for the bulbs on the box, and on each bulb (the backside). They are minimal though -- it's not a step by step.Overall, ballast bypasses make the wiring simpler -- not more complex. If you're unsure -- hire an electrician.

Super bright! Love the light in my shop.
You must bypass your current ballasts. If you have basic wiring skills, it is easy to do. You’ll need wire strippers, wire cutters, and a bunch of wire nuts. The bulbs are a little pricey, but they fit perfectly in my existing 8ft fluorescent fixtures.CAUTION: There are SINGLE PIN fixtures and DUAL PIN fixtures (2 pins on each end of the bulb.). I had all dual-pin lights.. Make sure you get the proper bulbs. Also, the bulbs have a clear protective layer on them to prevent shipping damage. Look carefully for it and peel it off before installing the bulbs.

Actual wattage is 72 watts per bulb, not 100 watts as the description states.
I used an inductive clamp meter to measure the current for a single bulb. It was exactly 0.6 mA on a 120v AC power supply. That works out to 72 watts. If you have a large area with a lot of bulbs, this certainly makes a difference in calculating wire size, switch amperage ratings, etc. Also, the brightness was actually a little underwhelming. The 5k bulbs are white, almost to the point of being uncomfortable to look at, but I suspect the actual lumen output is less than rated. Overall, they are nice bulbs. For my taste though, I think I'm going to try to find something with a little more light output.

easy to install and very, very bright
It was easy to rewire the fixtures to bypass the magnetic ballast. The lamps are quiet, unlike a bunch of failing buzzing mag ballasts and they are very, very bright. The color temperature is very high, which adds to the perception of brightness. I think I could have just replaced the two existing lamps per fixture with one of these and been fine.
