UV Light 36W 110V Living Room Sanitizer

I mostly bought this to sterilize my basement after hard rains and subsequent flooding. After I get the water out of the basement, I use the light in various sections to help decrease the incidence of mold and mildew. Lately though, after having read that it also can help with insect problems, I've been using it steadily for a last couple of months. It's taken a couple of weeks of constant use in one area, but the spider webs have crumbled and I am seeing less spiders wandering around down there.I've had other UV lights and have smelled the ozone from them. I've yet to smell any ozone with this one though. Every time I've gone into the basement after a session, the air "smells" clean - not "ozony."

Purchased this to help with overall sanitization within rooms in our home. Found it easy to use. Satisfied with knowing it is a helpful sanitization tool. After a few uses had an issue with operation using the remote and might have given a less than 5 star rating. However, Customer Service was stand up in communicating with me and ultimately replaced the product. Five stars for Customer Service and a useful product that is lightweight, has a long electrical cord and very portable.

I love this UV sanitizing light because it can sanitize an entire room without having to move it around all the time. I mainly use this in bathrooms once or twice a month. I have to keep the bathroom fan on the entire time while using it and for about 30 minutes or so afterwards. There is a remote control so you can operate it without being in the room; which is nice because you shouldn't expose your eyes to it while it's on. It has different time settings so it turns off on it's own if you want.

I believe that this lamp works well. I had some documents that had gotten a little bit musty in a fireproof box and I took them individually and hung them in a closed container with the light 15 minutes each side and it seemed to remedy the problem. I did not know what a banana test was until I searched for it, but I did the banana test today and it worked. The area in between the two pieces of tape I put on the banana did change color.

I absolutely love this UV light! Simple to use and super effective! It really does it’s job by killing all the dust mites in the room. It helps my girlfriend to stop having allergic actions from dust mites. The remote control that comes with as well as how simple and how less time consuming this is. Great investment for me!

We have a moldy basement with a French drain. It stinks. Have been using for a couple weeks. It is lightweight and gives you a minute to leave the room before the cycle begins. It seems to be helping with the smell. Our basement is 1000 sq feet so I need to move it around. The remote doesn't work and doesn't use a standard size battery that is sold locally. Has 3 timed cycles. 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Worth trying.

I haven't been able to breathe in my trailer since I bought it fourteen years ago. I bought this light and lit the house up room by room on the two-hour setting while I was at work. I can breathe all the time freely now. Unbelievable. If you have allergies, get this lamp. It's incredible. Just make sure you do your rooms when you're out of the house. I use a stool to sit it on.

You cannot be in the room when device is on I ended up in the ER.The device has a one minute delay to get out of the room and probably kills any germ in line of site.Love that it has a 30 60 120 minute setting.This is a UV light which just google to know the pros and cons.Wish it would give an audible warning to leave the room, if it did it would be a ***** star rating.
