NO fishy taste or smell!!
My review is about the smell and taste of this On Target Living CLO. I've just started using it, so I can't attest to any medical benefits one way or the other. I tried this brand based on the reviews that it's not 'fishy', and also that it has naturally occurring vitamins A & D as opposed to many other brands that over process the oil and have to add the vitamins back in.I can't tolerate the odor of anything 'fishy' at all - not even a little bit, absolutely not in the least can I take that odor or taste (maybe because my mother gave me CLO as a child, and it was sooo nasty it ruined me for that smell/taste forever, idk). So, based on other reviewers saying it had no fish taste or smell, I gave the small bottle a try. I'm glad I did. It truly has **zero** fish odor or taste. To me (and to my husband) it tastes like a lemon-ish flavored olive oil and has about the same consistency, maybe a bit less thick than olive oil. It's thick, but not overly so and not hard at all to swallow, even when it's cold (refrigerate after opening). The lemon flavor is there but it isn't a strong lemon taste. I can't say that it's 'tasty', but it's not nasty or bad at all, and the usual dose apparently is a tiny 5 ml/teaspoon. I take it after my coffee in the morning with a sip of coffee to chase it and it's all good. I haven't had any burping or other special fx.I don't know how well it does (or doesn't) work as a supplement, but if you're looking for a product that doesn't taste or smell like fish and has (natural) vitamins A & D, this is it.

ZERO FISH TASTE. HIGH QUALITY
ZERO FISH TASTEIf I had to describe it. It's a thick lemon oil. I take 2 spoons fulls every morning. That's 90 calories. I honestly look forward to taking it. It's like my body is addicted to it. I know. Sounds crazy. But I'm already on my 2nd bottle.

It's more than just great tasting cod liver oil and Omega 3's!
This stuff is fantastic! Originally, I ordered it to supplement my daily mackerel habit to ensure I get my Omega 3 nutrients. I saw a YouTube video by Dr. Berg, who explained what cod liver oil has that sardines/mackerel do not; I thought, well, why not have both? Adding this and a dash of salt to a can of sardines or mackerel really kicks up the flavor. Do not think of this as regular cod liver oil; you won't taste the cod liver at all; it has a light but bright, lemony flavor. Dr. Berg recommended getting cod liver from Denmark or Norway, but nowhere in the world is the seafood better than in Alaska. I know from a lot of experience, having lived there for several years.Do you know what else I do with the cod liver oil? It's a fantastic seasoning. I use it on baked potatoes, steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus, too. It's a great adder to cocktail sauce for shrimp too, mix ketchup, hot horseradish, a dash or two of washyersister sauce and wow! Give it a try but do not treat it simply as cod liver oil - use it as a flavor enhancer.

Wins on Taste
The best-tasting fish oil I’ve found. Does that make it good fish oil? Idk. After long-term use, does it have discernible benefits? Unclear. But if you believe in this stuff, and you just want one that doesn’t taste like dad smells after fishing, then this one is pretty good.
