My Musings
Wow, such an amazing message. While this book was written ten years ago, before he became the bishop and the American Episcopal church, it is spot on for today as well. I am so glad I found this book. Every Christian needs to read it. A very grateful reader!

Excellent book for our current time in history.
As a 76 year old Episcopalian, all my adult life, I have felt that our last two head bishops forgot about us and appealed to other groups and got away from what being a Christian is.Before someone jumps on me about being prejudiced, one of my direct ancestors was a documented slave from Africa, and we have a sprinkling of Cherokee blood in our ancestors. We have many gay friends and one calls us Mom and Dad. We are not his parents, but he got more support from us before and after he came out, than he did from his parents. The Episcopal Church needs healing and reconciliation and more focus on being a Christian. Bishop Michael Curry points to Jesus and his command to love. This book needs to be read by every Episcopalian.I got this book on Kindle, when Michael became our head bishop. I have read about half of it and have made suggestions to make it the center piece for an adult bible study this fall/winter/spring at our parish. So far, our priest and key lay leaders have agreed with me.As noted, I read half of the book in a couple of days, and I'm saving the rest for later when we start the study group.

Inspiring Words from an Inspiring 21st Century Man
I bought this book, a collection of talks and sermons delivered by the now-Presiding Bishop of America’s Episcopal Church, simply because I thought I should get to know my Presiding Bishop better. I will probably never meet him in person, but I feel like I have met him and know him well through his incredibly inspiring, moving words. During every one of these, his written sermons, I have cried (an important way I know someone has moved me deeply!) and wanted to jump to my feet and shout “Hallelujah, amen!” But of course, I won’t. I am Episcopalian, after all. Suffice it to say that Bishop Curry’s words have resonated off my heart like the clear cathedral bell that awakens - or should awaken - us all to Christian life and action.

Inspirational
After this author held my riveted attention during his sermon at the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Princess Meghan recently I bought this book and was not disappointed. His inclusive view of true Christianity represents the Jesus I know and love, and is in stark contrast to much of the mainline stream that has hijacked the name of Christ to lend authenticity and authority to their homophobic, xenophobic, and cultic agenda. This call to follow the example of Jesus is not always easy, and will often run counter to the example of the religious leaders and political powers of our time, but I believe the rewards will be great. Anyone who has been turned off by “Christianity,” but longs to fill the God-shaped hole in their being should read this book and rejoice.

So far reading this book provides a good introduction to Bishop Curry's thoughts on Christianity
I bought a paperback to read 'Crazy Christians' by our current bishop. When it arrived, my husband began reading it, so I ordered a copy for my kindle so that I could read it without waiting for him to finish. This book is a part of our church's Lenton study. So far reading this book provides a good introduction to Bishop Curry's thoughts on Christianity, modern and traditional.

Holy Spirit is what makes him Crazy
This is my second read of his (Love Is The Way) and we used this book for our Sunday School Class. He talks of issues that need to be addressed and expresses what we can do about them by telling us how Jesus handled some of the same issues. He preaches love and forgiveness in a way that should fit all of us and I’m jazzed to have his leadership in our church and in our world

Excellent and Inspiring - Highly Recommended
As I began reading Crazy Christians, I was not immediately wowed by the Bishop's early chapters. His examples from his grandmother as well as from well known Church leaders and thinkers did stick in my mind. By the time I reached the second half of this short book, I was hooked. A Gospel vision of our lives is a beautiful and radical thing! Michaepl Curry encouraged me to think and behave "outside the box" not in a difficult way, but in one that is natural and an organic extension of myself. It is the way of love for God and for others that can bless others, regardless of their age, race, wealth, political affiliation any other "dividing line'

Glad to be a "Crazy Christian"
An amazing and extremely thought-provoking book of what it would be like to really follow the "Way" of Jesus in the twenty-first century. A must read for every Episcopalian, +Presiding Bishop Elect of the Episcopal Church, Michael Curry, tells it like it is to be a Christian today. A must read for anyone who would like to get to know Jesus a bit better. So put your seatbelt on for the ride is powerful, intelligent, humorous and faith-filled. I was so moved by his story and the telling of Jesus' story for us in this chaotic world of 2015. The prose moves quickly and though the scholarship is intelligent and top-rated, it turned out to be a quick read. I just couldn't put "Crazy Christians" down. Thank you, +Bishop Michael for getting me off my doff and into the streets.

Bravissimo to Bishop Curry!
Fantastic book for any Episcopalian / Anglican to read. Connects with history and today's religious dilemmas. Would recommend to any Christian or Not. It is easy to read, and each chapter (which is a sermon) makes you wonder and contemplate the message. Bravissimo to Bishop Curry!
