The Halo Bolt 58830 mWh has a modified sine wave AC inverter output with a 65 watt max. I believe the Macbook Pro 16" laptop uses a DC converter (power brick) which supplies 60 watts to the laptop via a USB-C PD cable. I believe that the problem comes with the inefficiency of the MacBook's DC converter (80% efficient). Basically 60 watts / 0.8 = 75 watts of actual draw from the plug. This would exceed the Halo Bolt's 65 watt max. I would suggest getting a portable laptop charger that can charge directly with a USB-C PD output. For example the "Krisdonia Portable Laptop Charger 185 Wh/50,000 mAh" for $130 on Amazon. For comparison the Halo Bolt has a capacity of 58.8 watt hours (Wh), or 15,900 mAh @ 3.7 volts. Basically the Krisdonia battery is triple the size of the Halo Bolt battery, as such it is NOT TSA compliant. Make sure to check all the specs carefully when looking for a portable laptop charger. Keep in mind that your MacBook Pro 16" has a very large 100 watt hour (Wh) battery to charge up. Let's assume a charging efficiency of 85% for the Krisdonia 185 Wh through its USB-C PD cable. Therefore: (185 Wh * .85) / 100 Wh = 1.57 full charges for your Macbook Pro 16". Hope all this helps.
