Pet Sling Carrier Bag Travel Tote for Cats Dogs, Up to 16 lbs (Pink)

This is my second one. My dog adores these. I have the pink one and the grey one. I have created a monster thank wants to live in my pouch like a baby kangaroo. I can't get anything done with him in it because everone wants to stop me and see the baby kangaroo. It could be 100 degrees out and my dog would prefer to carried in it, body heat between us magnified, but he's happy as a baby kangaroo. He makes me wear it, my hubby wear it, my daughter wear it and the sight of it excites him more than the sound of me trying to muffle the noise made while opening a cheese stick.

This arrived last night but I wanted to try it out so I sat down to put my 16 year old 15 lb min pin in it. He wasn’t thrilled and didn’t make it easy and just kind of stood in it not sure what I was doing. I stood up to see how well he would do with me walking around the room and he was still very unsure and didn’t look pleased so after a couple of minutes I bent over and let it rest on the couch so he could crawl out and he was very difficult to get out (turns out he was trying to stay in). When I managed to get him out I took it off and was carrying it with one hand dangling close to the door to put it away he followed it all the way from one side of the living room into the spare bedroom where I was going to hang it up. He was trying to figure out how to get back in. Apparently he loves it but just needs a bit of time to get used to it

I didn't even get this unfolded from the packaging. As soon as I touched the fabric I knew it was cheap material and I would never put my dog into it. The fabric is rough and would never breathe on a summer day, which means the dog would over heat in it. I don't think it would even keep a dog warm on a chilly day.So I returned it the following day.

A bit difficult to get my 12 pound pup in. It is soft and stretchy and collapses where i dont hold it up and open.So you have to use one hand to hold bag open and the other to coax a wiggly pup into the bag. This took me over 15 minutes. She fills it to overflowing but as long as i hold her agaist me as i carry her, she wont fall out. There is no support, so all the weight is on one shoulder. Tends to cause fatigue fairly quickly. I would not purchase this if if i had seen it in real life. The pics over simplfy the process.

Absolutely LOVE this carrier!I'm on vacation down in Florida with my 6 lb. Yorkshire Terrier and my current carrier strap to hold him securely had broken.I needed something quick because I planned on taking him just about everywhere with us, including Daytona Biketober Fest which was our main reason for coming here.So I decided to order this Sling carrier as well as another front facing carrier. Both were really cheap, why not..I ordered both on a Wednesday evening at almost midnight and they were to deliver by Friday 9PMAmazingly Amazon delivered both of them the very next morning on Thursday and before 11AM. I was in shock, it happened to be PERFECT timing, especially considering that I we were on our way out and I had rigged up the broken strap of my current/old carrier. Thank you so much Amazon!!Anyway, this carrier is AWESOME, soft, comfortable for both my dog and I. I was concerned that he would be able to flip out of it prior to ordering it but it actually holds him so securely that I was really able to walk with him in it hands free and we were both able to really enjoy walking around in Daytona for Biketober.Very cute to, especially with him in it, he is the absolute cutest dog in the world... he got a lot of attention from everyone, even the bikers were at Awwww :)I'm going to be ordering a few more in different colors without a doubt.

I think it will be alright. The shoulder strap is not adjustable and is way too short for me. I would've been holding the dog right up under my arm. So I cut the strap, sewed a channel on each end and ran a long, LONG ribbon through it, lengthening the strap by probably a foot. it also came with a short strap with clips on either end that is, presumably to prevent the dog from jumping/falling out. But there is no D-ring on the bag to hook the strap to. I was thinking maybe you would wrap the little strap around the shoulder strap. It's possible, but that would leave your dog's face smushed against the shoulder strap because the little strap is only a few inches long. So, I may end up adding a D-ring, too.Having said all that, once I lengthened it, it's very comfortable to wear. I think it will work out alright.

I've been looking at this for a long time and finally purchased since I'm now working from home and wanted to have my Shih Tzu close to me while I'm doing it. The security features are fine and it is very cute and soft. The only problem I have is the strap should be adjustable. I would like to be able to let them hang a bit longer or pull it up closer when needed. As it is, you really have to pull it to the side to be able to type with the animal in the pouch. Also, it would benefit from a shoulder strap to help distribute the weight on your shoulder a bit better. I'm sure this would be fine if you were just taking the pet out somewhere in it but I guess not perfect for my purposes.

Purchased this for my 4lb Maltese with extreme seperation anxiety. She absolutely LOVES it!!! She gets so excited when she sees me get the bag out bc she knows she is going somewhere with me. She fits deep and comfy inside to where only her head sticks out..it looks like a purse and most of the time ppl don't even realize I'm carrying a dog so this allows me to take her almost anywhere! But when ppl do notice I'm always asked where I found such a cool bag! It really came in handy on vacation!! I found a pet friendly hotel and took the bag along. It would've been way too stressful to board her. It is sturdy and reversible and you can machine wash/dry it. It is made of sweatshirt material so it feels like your most comfortable hoodie..but it can get very hot in the summer for human and furbaby so be sure to take a lot of water breaks and breaks to let them out of it in the shade. Another great thing is that it's a cross body bag so my hands are always free however I wouldn't recommend it for anything over 5lbs bc even with my dog being only 4lbs it start to hurt my shoulder and back after awhile but you can switch shoulders which is also a plus.
