Really hard to use on my fiancé's birthday cake where I used Royal icing and took a lot of effort but got there eventually

Easy to use

I bought this product to write on my sons birthday cake, I unfortunately didn’t shop around and just ordered them, I later found out that they were half the price in supermarkets! However they are good for writing on HARD icing, I attempted on royal icing and it just kept going through the cake to begin with, they did work better once icing had hardened though but in my opinion they are not worth the price on here.

making the birthday cakes for my 2 boys 2nd and 4th birthday next month and these pens will give a great final touch. they arrived today and the inner child in me had to play with them right away. very easy to use. make sure the icing is solid and don't press too hard down on the pens and it will come out perfect. will definitely be ordering a few packs of these near Christmas to make some Christmas cookies with the kids 😀

Update- 5 stars fir Excellent customer service.I was really looking forward to these, sadly have to return, dried up. I used it on dry fondant plaques that were made months ago so the surface is solid & icing sugar free. Several colours didn't work at all, other colours wrote the first letter nicely, rest faded. Prices advertised in the shops are cheaper at £2.50 or £2.99 but no stock, so bought these at £4.99- item is tiny- like mini- markers

I just want it to use to decorate my biscuits but I realised I was no able to paint in the cookies just on the top of the icing sugar. So I didn't use much they are bit dry in my opinion and a bit small for the price.But if you want to paint just the icing sugar they are good for this.

These are tiny! Haven’t used yet but so small don’t have much confidence in performance will update when used.
