FunkoRock Candy: Riverdale - Betty

From afar, this action figure looks great - it captures the wittiness and sassiness of Betty. But looking closely, the finishing is pretty bad. The closing at the front of her head is really showing and the painting work on her hair is really not that great. I got Amazon to send me another one, just in case I got one with defects, but the second one looked exactly the same. Kind of surprised. I'm used to see really high quality on Funko Rock Candy products.

This has a simple design, which helps it avoid the QC issues of many other Rock Candy figures. I usually post pictures, but mine looks almost identical to the one that the first reviewer has. Paint apps on the sweater (especially near edges) could be better, but everything else is par for the course for a plastic figure that's $10.

Cute doll

Overall a cute figure, especially if you're a fan of Betty! But there are some paint defects, for example, my figure has her lips printed on the wrong part of her face, & there are spots around the hairline that are a little messy. I wish the figure was as cute as the prototype on the box, the pink sweater & extra details would've made it perfect!Also planned on keeping this, as it was my first Rock Candy figure, in the box, but the box came ripped so I decided to open her. I was a bit disappointed by that.
