Does what it's supposed to do.
Works well, barebones, no nonsense. The blotting paper supplied with it is okay, but I recommend replacing it with a more absorbent variety.

Charming little ink blotter.
It will do it’s job, and it will look charming on any desk. I suggest getting good ink blotter paper refills for best results.

Extremely poorly made
The width is wider than any available blotting paper, rough wood, badly finished and the cover plate hole is off center. Had to sand, stain, finish and drill the cover bolt hole again to make it fit the base.DO NOT BUY!
