1883 Routin Almond Syrup - Glass Bottle - 1 Liter

I bought this to make cafe Lecce a coffee drink we had in the city of Lecce Italy and it works very well for this. I had tried another brand but this one works better. I highly recommend this for this drink. Look up the recipe for this drink it is a very nice summer ice coffee drink.

I researched the heck out of which Orgeat or Almond Syrup was the best. I read many reviews, which actually was quite confusing. Finally I picked one. This is excellent. It has a very nice soft almond flavor, so it compliments your cocktail and does not over power it. There is no weird taste or after taste. I believe it is one of the best I have tasted. It is not cheap, but not expensive like some of the others.

So far, this is my favorite brand of coffee syrup! The flavors are much more flavorful than Torani, and overall much better quality.

i've been making mai tais lately, and have tried this orgeat and also the b.g. reynolds product. the latter is very thick and syrupy, dark, but not strongly almond flavored. it has some almond flavor, but it is very subtle. the 1883 goes the other way- thinner, very strongly almond flavored but smelling and tasting like almond extract. it is ok, useable, but i think my search for the perfect orgeat has not ended. i just tried the small hands product and i think it's the best of the 3 i've tried- more almond flavor than the reynolds, less artificial than the routin.a month or two later: try 50/50 the routin and the small hands. the routin adds some intensity to the relatively mild small hands product.

This vanilla makes my latte taste just as good as Starbucks but at home and cheaper!

Bottle is plastic but syrup is excellent

Was delivered in a carefully packaged box and covering for the bottle. Was very impressed. The product taste is just what expected true almond taste. Would recommend this product if you enjoy the flavor of almond .

This may seem acceptable if you don't know the difference. It's just sugar, water, and some sort of almond flavoring. Almonds should be the first ingredient, not a flavoring.
