Honestly, I think that these can definitely compete with more expensive pastels.They are soft, creamy and easy to blend, even if you are not a beginner, you can create some great pieces with these. I was on a hunt for good oil pastels for a while and these have definitely exceeded my expectations.If you need oil pastels, buy these!

These oil pastels are a life saver, they are strong in colour and contain all the colours/shades you need so there is no need to really mix any of the colours together. I use the white quiet slot to help blend all the colours and get smooth transitions between each colour. Great for artwork, and very good quality. They are also very thick and sturdy; they don't break in your hands when pressing hard. At under £4 these were honestly a great buy, and would buy them again once they have run out. Will keep Pentel in mind for future art product purchases, as they are sure great quality, and good value for money; plenty of colours.

It’s a very lovely product, colors beautifully, variety of shades of colors but breaks easily.

Bought for 7 year old to try something new. Not sure if we are doing something wrong but they don't seem to blend very well.We've had fun using them so that's all that counts. We aren't experienced artists but they seem like a good product.

I looked at the reviews and some people weren’t to happy. however, i tried them out and i’m glad i did. the colours are very vibrant and they are easy to use without getting messy. if you want to get some shading in you can use a cotton swab to blend out the oil pastel and layer it up.all in all, very happy with this product and i would buy again.
