Replace all the Batteries. Then these are very good to excellent.
We bought 5 ($75 each) of these in December, 2018 to monitor our summer house during the winter, and make sure we did not loose heat from our old boiler. After some work, I got all 5 to work. Left town, and headed for warmer weather. At first they all worked, and I was glad to see the data. Over the course of 3 months, they all disconnected one by one. By the time the last one failed, it was March, 2019 and we were past the high risk winter temperatures. When we returned to the summer house, I saw that the displays were still working but no connection. I simply put them all in a drawer. In late October, 2019 it was time to get the house ready for winter again, and I decided to check them out before finding another brand. All the displays were dead. I tested each of the original batteries, and found readings from 0.01v all the way to 1.00v. Like a bunch of random numbers. Good batteries do not run down like that. These were clearly really cheap batteries. I replaced all 15 batteries with new Kirkland AAA batteries that I already owned. Those all started at about 1.59v. All 5 units instantly jumped back to life, automatically reconnected, and started reporting data again. They were all as good as new, and and fully wifi connected. No need to re-program. Moral of the story is to throw away the included batteries as step one. Put in 3 high quality batteries. I suspect the batteries are the source of many many problems people are reporting. Not sure how much time to expect, but 5 or 6 months is all that I really need to have. I will buy one or two more, depending on whether or not wifi can reach the garage. That allows me the ability to see temps in every cold corner of this large house with radiant water heat in wooden floors. With more than a mile of copper / water pipes in wooden floors, I can not allow the house to ever ever freeze. These work great, with great reports. They just need a good power source.

Works Great!
Purchased to monitor temperature in travel trailer stored and used in Wi-Fi areas. Easy to change Wi-Fi, but phone must be within bluetooth reach of device when changing. Just connect your phone to Wi-Fi and open the app and change the Wi-Fi. Do not have to reset the device. Has low battery alert, but battery has been good so far. Remote monitoring of temp and humidity is great. App even has charts and alerts. No subscriptions needed. Thinking of purchasing additional devices for other locations.

Limited functionality. Otherwise, works well.
I thought I'd be able to use the humidity readings from this device to turn humidifiers on and off via voice assistants or the Govee Home app. Sadly, it doesn't have the ability to do that. I even bought Govee smart plugs to use the Govee Distributed Gateway function but still didn't work. Still, it's an accurate device and I do have the ability to check the humidity remotely and take action manually. So, for what it is, it works well.

It works! Very useful.
My HVAC (Carrier) has a thermostat that communicates with furnace, A/C (or heat pump), zones, manages humidity and variable speed functions. Carrier has made wifi controls, but they have been expensive and dismal failures. To use a Nest or similar would dumb down the whole HVAC system. The only function I needed was the ability to know if the furnace was maintaining temperature when I traveled (in the winter). The Goove Wifi does it, very well. I am so impressed by how reliable and how accurate temp and humidity readings are. You need Bluetooth for initial setup, but after that the Govee thermostat sends data over wifi to the Govee cloud (free). I was basking in the warmth of Texas this winter knowing that my home was not going to have frozen pipes. I did take the extra steps with other products to 1) detect leaks 2) turn off whole house water 3) turn off hot water heater 4) open/drain hot/cold water at the lowest point . Those address other problems, but the most probable scenario is heat out, and the Govee sensor is the key piece there. I've had temperature monitoring solutions for the past 35 years, but initial products required a land line and early wifi units were expensive and clunky. Govee is pragmatic and inexpensive. Far more precision than I need, but if you have a greenhouse you could sleep at night knowing this product has you covered.

Convenient, works well, and good customer service
It was very easy to set up and the app is pretty easy to use. I did need to calibrate it because it was initially reading about 20 degrees cooler; the calibration is pretty easy to do through the app, but it's limited. I could never get it closer than about 10 degrees cooler than the real temp, but it was reading consistently precise allowing me to just add 10 to the reading for the real temperature. I was able to get the humidity to be almost exact. I would recommend this product if you have reptiles. I bought it for my frilled dragon when she became very ill and I wanted to check her temperature and humidity throughout the day; I could be at work and look at the graph the app generates to see how good things were throughout the day and have the real-time reading. But, like I said, have a secondary temperature reader for your reptiles since you may need to calibrate this product. I always recommend a temperature gun if you keep herps. Unfortunately, after about 2 months, the product stopped working. I did purchase a 3-year warranty, but they still have a good guarantee on the product. So, they have a rapid-replacement feature on the app. I was able submit my problem and send pictures; then, they got back to me in in less than 24 hours telling me that they would immediately send me a replacement. Their email also outlined when it should ship and when it should arrive, which is about 4 days after shipment. So, overall. I would say that I have so far had a good experience with this product and the company.

The hardware is great, no doubt. It does what it was designed to do but I cannot link it to Google Home whether I reset the device or Google itself.
