I bought this product knowing nothing about the Tea Tree Oil toxicity in dogs, then I heard from my boyfriend about it, and later my best friend told me he had washed his dog with a Tea Tree Oil Dog Shampoo and his dog had gotten a severe reaction. I did my research and it turns out a dog can only tolerate a dilution of 0.1-1% Tea Tree Oil topically. Nowhere on the bottle is the Tea Tree Oil content indicated, and nowhere on the Purplebone website can I find any information regarding Tea Tree Oil toxicity, or reassurance that their levels are below the toxicity levels, which has led me to believe that they are unknowing to this fact.It's a beautiful bottle, the pump is very convenient, and the shampoo smells lovely, but it is of no use for my dog until I have gotten an answer to the TT-Oil content. I have tried contacting Purplebone both per E-mail and on Facebook without success. I believe this is a safety issue.

Dog Shampoo Tea Tree I purchased on 27th June 2021 was looking forward to washing my dog's as the smell was fresh,but now after washing them they have had a reaction and got steroids and ear drops which wasn't cheap£108-65 ...So I do think there is something in this shampoo that causes irritation that is not stipulated and will be glad to return item and get refund on my credit card I used plus the cost of vet bill too so disappointed with this product all together..

Thought I'd try out this new shampoo, having been a customer at Purplebone in the past. You get such a generous amount for what you pay and it comes in such a nice, easy to use bottle! The shampoo itself smells so nice, and I can smell it on my dog for days after she's had a bath. Will definitely be buying this again!

This product is highly perfumed, bright green and doesn’t sud up. It may suit other dogs though, service was excellent.

Really pleased with this shampoo. It has a great texture and smells good: my Labrador is always getting bogged down in mud, especially this time of year, but this shampoo really brought his coat up glossy and fresh. Would buy again.
