ConvaTec Aloe Vesta Protective Ointment, 2 Ounce

The hospital used this on our newborn in the NICU, and gave it to us to take home. It's great for daily usage for preventing diaper rashes, and it really moisturizes the skin effectively and quickly. It is rather thick, but it absorbs into the skin well and does not smell, it's odorless. So it's great for babies or anyone with sensitive skin. But it's also good for anyone...I have normal skin, and I use it to moisturize my hands after they get so dry from washing bottles and dishes all day. After we finished the supply from the hospital, I ordered more online.

I got this cream in the hospital when I had my daughter and when I ran out I tried other diaper creams. This one is far superior. It is great as diaper cream, it cleans off easily but protects well. My son had eczema and it was the only thing that helped. It also works on sunburn. Definitely recommended! I buy it for everyone I know that has a baby!

I first tried this lotion when my dad was in the hospital and they gave it to him. I was hooked from day one. I live in Arizona which is a very dry place with sun maybe 340 days a year. Anyway the dryness and sun take it's toll on your skin. This lotion after showering goes on smooth and absorbs immediately. No waiting for the greasy feel to go away. It last long too and there's no smell to conflict with other scents you use. Great on your elbows and heels. I use it as a body lotion when I get out of the shower.

I needed a product to protect skin around a problem area and had tried several different ointments. This product is very good. I cringed when I saw it was another white cream because I had some that were a real mess to use and were hard to apply. This is softer and is easy to apply. It rubs in smoothly and turns clear when absorbed. It leaves a soft moisturizing sheen on the skin. Its a wonderful soothing product.

The best ointment I ever bought. Keeps your skin moisturized all day and an excellent healing aid. I learned of this ointment when my son had to have surgery and the hospital he was located at used this brand. This brand cleared up my sons scars and dry skin. I googled it to see if it was sold to the public and I was excited it was. We been using this brand for 3 years now, they have lotions too and I recommend everyone to use this.

This ointment is very nice--thick, heavy, and with very simple ingredients. I have very sensitive, itchy, dry skin; and I use this product on chapped lips, or under sleeping gloves at night for chapped hands. I use the companion product (Aloe Vesta skin conditioner) on my hands during the day; it is also very soothing but not as greasy as the ointment.

My mother bought this hone from the hospital. It was the only thing that helped her over-dry, itchy skin. We tried other lotions and creams and nothing worked as well as the Aloe Vesta. It is very moisturizing and goes on clear. No smelly residue! Within minutes of application, Mom said the itchiness was gone!

Throw out any other diaper rash/baby cream you have, this stuff is all you need! .... One of my postpartum nurses gave me a small bottle of this when my son was born and I still have it (he’s 9mo old) but ordered more for the diaper bag.... I use this for diaper rash, chapped cheeks/nose in the winter, little scratches and I even use some on my hands when they’re feeling extra dry. It’s AMAZING!
