LeecraftRG-4 Table Saw Zero-Clearance Dado Insert for RIDGID R4510 (Colors May Vary)

Worked exactly as advertised. The insert fit nicely into my Ridgid R4510/4513 portable table saw, and after a few minutes of adjusting the leveling screws on the saw and the lateral adjustment screws on the insert (one each on the end and side of the insert) achieved a perfect, tight fit with absolutely no wobble or lateral movement. The pre-cut channel on the underside of the insert is a nice touch, allowing plenty of clearance between the insert and the fully-lowered blade prior to cutting the slot (I was using a 10-inch thin-kerf blade). Actual cutting of the slot was straightforward. I clamped a flat board over the insert on the front and back end of the table and slowly raised the blade. Perfect zero-clearance slot, no tear-out whatsoever. Be aware that this product will not accommodate a riving knife unless you extend the cut with a jigsaw or handsaw (I'm sure there are other ways of doing this). In hindsight I should have purchased the RG3 model that comes pre-cut with a riving knife slot. Even so, I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

First I should note that I purchased the RG-4 to install on a Ridgid Model R4513 Jobsite Table saw. The RG-4 information indicates that it is designed to fit the Ridgid model R4510. I’m happy to inform you that it perfectly fits the model R4513 too. I paired the RG-4 up with a Freud 10: LU79R010 Thin Kerf saw blade. Installation was very simple. Install the blade to be paired and lower the blade to minimum height. Install the RG-4 and adjust the elevation screws. Then use a piece of scrap lumber and two clamps to hold the RG-4 from lifting. Turn on the saw and slowly raise the blade to cut the slot in the RG-4. Note for ideal zero clearance you should only raise the blade to a height of material you plan to cut.You might also want to purchase a Micro Jig GRR-Ripper GR-100 or GR-200. This is a great safety accessory to use with your table saw as well as other table tools.

All in all it does what it says it does i have a ridgid R4512 and it took a little finessing to get it fitting flush but hey everything needs a little this and a little that!

This fit my portable 10" rigid table saw perfect after using the adjusting screws. I bought it to use with the Freud 6" dado blade set, that I also bought off amazon, to cut dado channels for the built in cabinets I built for my wife. The cuts were perfect with no splintering because of this zero clearance insert. I will definitely recommend this to anyone in the market looking for an insert for their Ridgid table saw. I also recommend clamping it down with a 3/4" block of wood to make the initial cut through the insert. You should only go through far enough for the depth you are cutting otherwise it wouldn't be zero clearance.

Accurate fit. Well Solid made. Better than the original and will never worn down ... it will last for years.

Had trouble finding an insert for my ridgid 45101. Will be getting a couple more for various dado widths.

The Leecraft zero-clearance inserts are incredibly awesome. I weighed making my own vs. buying. I think for the fully equipped shop it would be simple to make your own, but for us DIYers with a limited shop, buying these and having them fit perfectly is just too convenient! I have a few for various dado widths and also bought the zero-clearance for normal ripping/cutting. The build quality is top notch, the fit is perfect, has all the adjustment screws to make perfectly level, and overall takes about 3 minutes to setup.Love Leecraft's products!
