The Secret Zoo: Raids and Rescues (Secret Zoo, 5)

This book in the series seemed a little slow and less exciting. It took longer to read as the excitement wasn’t there.

I bought this to round out my series of Secret Zoo books and enjoyed it as much if not more than the others. I was glad to see the same characters continue in this book particularly because it is their individual personalities that help make the story. It was a quicker read than the other books in the series but still worth reading. Is suitable for an avid reader in the fourth grade and up. I have enjoyed the world Mr. Chick has created in his story line and can not wait for the next one. I recommend that you buy this book for your younger reader or yourself, even if you are a Grandmother like me!

My daughters and I love reading this series!

I need to research what other books this author has written, my 7 year old and I both love this book. I read it with him every night before bed and every time we finish a book in the series we immediately download the next. I don't know if this will be the final book in the series as I do like things to eventually come to a close....but this author is a TOP notch kids writer. Even enjoyable for adults....great to have your kids read on their own or read to them....absolutely amazing!

This was an amazing and emotionally charged story. There were a couple of chapters that were tear inducing, some that were really creepy! We are starting the next one right away!!

I think this is my favorite in the series so far. I actually reread several parts after I had finished it. The adventure is amazing and I truly love the characters! I laughed, I cried, I freaked out (I don't like bugs), but I love these books. By the end, it was worth the short lived torture I suffered to read through "Creepy Critters." I have been impressed with all of the books in this series and would recommend them to anyone.

This whole series is beautifully written. I read these with my 10 year old grandson. The language is more than competent and less than too sophisticated. The stories all move along beautiful. Great visual description. Lots of action. Lots of suspense.
