I use this slip ring within bearings, and my rotating assembly is driven by a ring gear and a stepper, so I don’t need the hollow type

I use these on solar trackers that revolve to always point at the sun. These are used on model boats, cars and trains which are solar powered and would otherwise twist the wires. I like to use all six wires for a two wire circuit which effectively increases the gauge. It’s sad to see people giving a low rating because they can’t figure out how to attach the end opposite the flange. You don’t need to attach it to anything. Just let the wires run out and they will not get twisted. Duh.

This dandy little product allows you to wire an electrified moving item (small windmill or garden item, turntable, robotic arm, etc.) while the other end of the wiring remains stationary. This allows motion where required without twisting the wiring with each movement. The price is not too high given the nicely designed and small size though better description in the advertising would be welcomed.

Using on a rotating Christmas tree. I used in 3 wire pairs to run 120v -6A Christmas lights. The original wiper went bad and could have caused a fire.

The media could not be loaded. I use this to supply power and data to the pixels in my Ferris wheel. It's subjected to rain/sleet/snow/ice 3 months out the year and has never let me down.

I used it in a 3d printed windmill and works great
