I recently upgraded my PC and decided to try this cooler out. I was a bit nervous since I’ve had mixed experiences with cooling solutions before, but this one totally surprised me in a good way. First off, the installation was super straightforward. I know some coolers can be a pain, but this one just clicked into place with no hassles. I didn’t even need to look up how-to videos, which is always a plus.What really impressed me was how well it kept my CPU temps down, especially during gaming marathons. I play a lot of demanding titles and usually, my old cooler struggled, cranking up the fans and making a racket. This cooler? It’s quiet and efficient. Even when I pushed my system, I didn’t see the temps getting anywhere near the danger zone.The pre-applied thermal compound is a nice touch too, made things even smoother. Honestly, for the price, I don't think you can beat the cooling power it offers. If you’re on a budget but still want solid performance and easy setup, this cooler's definitely worth it. I'm really happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade without breaking the bank.

I recently upgraded my computer and the i7 CPU came with Intel's stock fan, which I didn't mind having used them previously, but this time round I was not happy with the fan at all. The noise level was crazy high from what I had been used to and the fan just seem to intermittently make an awful whirring sound too, even when running on silent, so I decided to upgrade the fan to the Arctic 12 LP and it's the best decision I could have made.The fan was very easy to install, took me about 5 minutes in total to do and comes with pre-applied thermal paste as well, making it even easier and as soon as I switched my PC back on I could instantly notice the difference. The Arctic fan is so much quieter than the Intel one and already having 2 other Arctic fans installed as my case fans, it's just looks good now with everything matching.I let the fans run for a while and then checked the temperatures in the Bios and the CPU is running at least 6 degrees lower than with the Intel fan and it's still extremely quite, with the running speed set to normal instead of silent. I haven't tested it yet with any games, but I'm 100% more confident now with this fan installed than I would have been using the Intel one.The Arctic 12 LP is an amazing purchase and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.

Used it on socket 1155 motherboard, with i5 3570k with no overclocking. it is better than Intel stock, but CPU runs hot in more demanding games despite several case fans and efficient air flow.Also the cooler looks cheap. the fan housing, etc. too.I have an Arctic 11 from 2014 paired with socket 775 CPU Core 2 Duo E8600, it keeps that CPU cool at full load and it looks better. Other things, like Arctic logo used to be blue, now it is black and wires are black not colour coded anymore. I don't know who thought all black was cool, especially with all the computer components for some years now, down to every wire, that cant be distinguished, or seen in the dark housing of a black PC. Hang on, I forgot, I don't have the tacky RGB LED lights installed to light it all up, I forgot, urgh,

Arctic is my go-to for value but performant coolers. This is no exception. Noise is good considering the size but obviously a Tower cooler will be quieter or cooler. Price is excellent for the performance and worth buying over any cheap Chinese no-name cooler.

Started years ago with a i3-4360 and the stock intel fan. After 2-3 years it was noisy so got the Arctic 12 (non OC version) and was installed in minutes.Recently upgraded to i5-4690K and although the Arctic 12 was still going strong, the OC version supports a higher max TDP and the cost of the new heat sink and fan (HSF) was not far of from a tube of decent thermal interface material (TIM) so opted for the Artic 12 OC.Both versions are easy to mount and install as no back plate is needed. Just mount over the processor whilst lining up the pins. When you are sure it’s right push them down one at a time until they click. Plug in the 4 pin wire to the CPU FAN header and job done!!Quiet, cool (don’t think it’s hit 70 C yet even under 100% load) and whilst it’s plain looking and has no RGB it does the job of keeping the system cool.

I had an old i7-2700k and when I moved it into another case the artic freezer pro 13 snapped off the mounting brackets. I was only using it as a TV theatre computer so bought this cheap replacement. Well the idles actually went down, old freezer pro though like 7 years old and I never replaced the thermal compund on it. I did clean case a lot as well. Overall It is quiet enough and works well. I did 1 hour of prime 95 (I know it is not long enough but it was long enough for me to know I would never have issues at all given my work load on it) and it maxed at 70 degress but I do have excellent air flow in case and I do not have a powerful graphics card in it.Installation took me 10 seconds, I literally just pushed down the 4 pegs into the holes done then plugged fan in. I was like well that was easy enough.

bought to replace a stock Intel cooler that was getting noisy.not much roof between cpu mount and memory chips.price seemed OK ( but had to add bits to get free delivery) just over £20.00 total.Removing old unit and cleaning was easy.fitting this unit should have been simply locate pins in slots and press each down to lock,BUT pre-applied thermal paste was way too thick, could get any three pins locked but not 4th,tried three times, removing paste from cpu each time until it finally clicked all 4 pins in.no other problems, cooling results are great around 32 degrees C most of the time, never gone over 60 degrees C after playing games for two or three hours, very happy, less noise than stock heat sink too.ps .later found same unit for half amazon price.
