I can't imagine having not used these. The preference from stirrup, to trident is personal. I like both but prefer the trident so that it does not show in case I sit a particular way, etc. The clips work well and havent damaged my shirts, or socks....yet? Will wait and see. The clips on your backside cant be too tight, otherwise, any bending or kneeling of sorts and they will pull off of the shirt and dangle about knee level and its annoying. Quality is nice, every section is adjustable and excessively useful in my opinion.

For the price, I don't think these can be beat. I've used the traditional single band style, that never seem to last long before getting stretched out and wavy, or unsnap from the sock to give you an intense gut-check. But after using these with the stirrup style attachments, I wont be going back. My current set has been going strong for the past 6 months, which is more than I would have expected from a $15 pair of stays. I'm not kind with them, either; opting for a more taught pull on my shirt, maxing out the minimum adjustments. With a weighted down duty belt and a class-b uniform, these stays are remarkably comfy and secure, even after an occasional brisk sprint. I see the other questionable reviews, and to those I say: return and re-try if you get a bad batch. $15 isn't a bad price to pay.

So, it's a lot thinner than I expected, doesn't have strongbuckles. I'll adjust it, and during course of the day it's all sagging because the buckles allow too much slack. When used with the stirrups, it helps, and the stirrups are much thicker with larger buckles. It's comfortable enough, and the clasps that hold onto your shirt are phenomenal. Really grip well. Problem is getting them undone haha, takes a good deal of effort. If I were to change anything, it would be thicker/better straps to help hold the tensioner/sliding buckles in place for the straps that attatch to the shirt.

the shirt stay aspect works great but it does not keep my socks up in any capacity

I have bought a few of these and love them. The clip did wear out but I used to wear them daily for my job that being said 1 pair lasted a year

Do your self a favour and don't buy shirt stays on amazon. these snapped within the first week of use.

Bought a pair about two years ago and wore them for three days a week since I got them. After this time, they started to lose grip and the elastics started to stretch. They are comfortable to wear, you can barely feel them and they are invisible from the outside. Can't ask for more for this price,

I have worn these for 3 days now. I was impressed at first but now returning them. One of the clips does not close properly and does not hold the shirt. Also over the course of 8 hours all of the length adjustment buckles loosen up and by the end of the day the shirt stay is doing nothing.
