Great replacement for Gaggia brew group grease
Having had to replace the O-rings on my brew group and purchased a full cleaning kit to do this I was reminded how pathetically small the 5g "lube tube" that Philips supply for these machines. Also they no longer seem to sell the grease on their website (I've waited 3 months for it to come into stock and this seems to be a worldwide problem).£6 for 100g is a bargain and it works just as well as the Gaggia/Philips grease that came with the machine. Lube and coffee - perfection.

Terrific Value
Bought for my gaggia bean-to-cup machine. Over 20 times better value than the official 5gm tube!

Value for money
A hell of a lot cheaper than buying tiny overpriced alternatives.

It is difficult to find the recommended Molykote 111 so
Hmm, I bought this as a lubricant for the lever cam assembly on my Rocket Cellini espresso machine (E61 group). It is difficult to find the recommended Molykote 111 so, having seen one coffee merchant recommending this for sliding mechanisms in other coffee machines I thought I'd get some. For the E61 lubrication I'm not sure this was the right stuff frankly. It's safe yes but when I put this rather thick stuff on my cam assembly the group lever was incredibly stiff to operate, although I'm more than sure this is better than no lube at all. Finally though I found someone on Ebay doing the Molykote and bought some of that and it's completely different. The lever now is super easy to move up and down (maybe a bit too slippery) but it does illustrate a definite difference.I would still recommend this as a lubricant to use but it seems more appropriate for the plastic sliders on other coffee machines and if you can't find the Molykote it's going to be better than nothing. As most of these lubricants are expensive I would say relatively this is good value as it's quite a large tube and should last a long time.

Great for kegs
If you use cornelius kegs for home brewing then you need this in you life. tiny amount on the seals and you'll never have leaks again.
