Nice and bright
This is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the first one and it works perfectly. Not too bright, not too dim, and the color temp is just what I was looking for. I liked it so much that I ordered another.

I purchased two of these, one was DOA. Amazon replaced it with their no hassle return and replacement. I do wonder about the quality down the road. They are very warm pleasant light, that part is good.

Burned out in a week. Crap.
I've been using CFL bulbs for years and I know how to handle them. I put this into my lamp, carefully, and have used it for 3 or 4 hours since I installed it last week. Yesterday I turned the lamp on, and the bulb was burned out. Of course I had discarded the box, so I can't even send it back. What a waste of 11 dollars. Total crap.

Closer to 2000 lumens - dishonest labeling.
NOT 2600 Lumens, no matter how long you let it warm up. Measured it with a light meter, and compared it against a 150 watt tungsten incandescent bulb. I'd say that this Satco S7334 40 watt bulb is closer to 2000 lumen output - a good third to half a stop less than the tungsten bulb.Very disappointing, and misleading and dishonest labeling.
