I have found these 'cubes' an excellent way round keep tidy cupboards along with simple shelving - I have them in various colours throughout the houseeasily put together and dismantled if not in use, great way of introducing colour into a room etc

Fit in my cubic unit perfectly..so much better than just empty space..only downfall is they smell a bit probably cz been in a bag..very sturdy Happy 😊

First off, these are an (almost) great fit for Billy bookshelves - and because of that I can see why they would be too small for Kallax ones. They are square based with a height slightly longer than their width/depth, and on my shelf they are flush with the bookshelf's *frame*: the shelves are slightly inset, so the 'lip' of the base hangs over the edge a little. I don't find that visually distressing - well, compared to the mess they help me 'organise' out of sight. And that is why I bought them in the first place. I had a shelf that became almost a discard pile of 'things I didn't want to discard on the offchance they could be useful sometime in the future' and it was a nightmare. This allowed me to hide all that in boxes (and impose some loose form of semi-organisation).The colour is lighter than the product's first image might indicate. A better indicator would be the picture of an individual box with dimensions. I actually prefer the softer tone.These are fabric and cardboard, so I wouldn't recommend getting them wet or overloaded - but it's sufficient to throw in, for example, loose stationary (pens, post-it notes, etc). One I'm using for a small collection of sports equipment (bands, small balls, etc) and another I'll be using to hide my knot of charging and connecting cables, batteries, etc.One word of warning - though if you do the maths beforehand it should be obvious - but these boxes are too wide to fill out either a half-width Billy bookcase (you can get one in per shelf) or a full-width case (you can get two in at most). However, I really don't think you want to get them snug anyway - I can't think the friction between two as you move one in and out of the shelf would be good for their fabric covers.Finally, I do think these are perhaps a little overpriced for what they are - but then so are the alternatives available on Amazon. For this common-ish price, these look good and do their job (i.e. storing stuff!) well.

Very sturdy and a great solution for my colour scheme

I was a bit cautious about the measurements as I use imperial tape measure and wanted to replace my old boxes which have lasted for more than 10 years ,these were perfect thank you .They are very cheap to buy but will be a good choice , for who needs to create order like everyone that I know who have messy teenagers or for a student flat ?Anyway perfect for me ,

Bought these to put into a shelving unit in my kitchen - to hide unsightly tupperware, tins, and other kitchen essentials. They were easy to put together (they took 5 seconds each) they were the perfect colour (duck egg) for my kitchen, they look good, and they just hold enough stuff to be useful. They're not as sturdy as I would like them to be - not as strong as a cardboard box, but they do the job for me. My shelves now look so much better, even my husband noticed! Great value for money and would buy more for the bedroom.
