Seems to work for me, better energy
I am pre-diabetic, A1C 6.0 at last count, though it had gotten up to 6.3 at one point. I have tried this on and off over the last year or so. I add it to a small glass of morning OJ, my one juice indulgence. Or to my protein water before a walk. For context, I eat a very low carb, sugar free diet, bake with almond flour, gluten free, healthy fats, fish and chicken, almost no beef, almost no fruit.I don't check my blood sugar and A1C all the time like some do. I'm on no medication. But what I do notice is that when I take at least a scoop a day, I can have a bowl of cottage cheese and red seedless grapes without my energy crashing and needing a nap. I can have a small glass of morning OJ with my eggs without energy slump. I am currently needing to eat sandwiches for lunch, with gluten free bread, though I have not been eating bread and grains, and my energy is still good. At its worst, just one bite of a corn taco shell at lunch could crash my energy for the rest of the day. When I take a break from this product, I notice my tolerance and energy level starts to go down if I have even a little bit of something carby. So I've brought it back into my life and it's here to stay. For context, I also have a bitter melon supplement that I sometimes take, I drink a lot of Bravo sugar level tea, which is a mix of herbs that seems to satisfy my thirst better than water if I've gone a little overboard with carbs. And I walk at least 30 minutes a day. If you're looking for a natural option to help improve your blood sugar issues, might be worth a try.

It actually works for me
I started taking this about 3 weeks ago after trying several other diabetes supplements such as Apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, etc. This is the only one that keeps my numbers down. I am LADA, type 1.5 so I wasn't sure if it would work but I am amazed at my results. Its not meant to replace insulin but to be used as a supplement and that's how I use it. I still do the same medications and controlled diet as before but this has helped knock my numbers down by about 15-20 points average so far. It appears to keep me level at a good number throughout the day rather than necessarily helping with my post meal numbers (That's what insulin is for).I ran it by my doctor so she is aware that I am using it just to be safe but I haven't seen any side effects from it at all. The taste isn't wonderful but its very tolerable. I throw it in my morning coffee and can't taste it at all. Its pricy but I'll keep buying it as long as it keeps helpingUpdate: I am 2 months in and it still has an amazing effect on my numbers. I switched to one scoop a day and its still working as it was. I have not seen any bad side effects and will continue to use this, though I do have to watch for lows as that seems to happen more often since I started using it. My current A1C is around 6. Before I started this, doing everything the same as before (Insulin, watching my carbs, etc), my A1 C was 7. It is definitely having an effect

This works, but...
I was skeptical of this product, but decided to give it a try. It did work for me--it lowered my sugar from over 230 to 157. However, I had an allergic reaction which led me to my Doctor for steroid shot and a couple of prescriptions. I was itching and had hives :(I decided a couple of days later to try again, just in case it wasn't the powder. Once again, my sugar was out of control and I drank warm tea with the powder and had results. But about an hour later, I was itching and had hives again.I do recommend this product as a way to help with blood sugar control. I hope you have better luck than I did.

Excellent Tool in the Tool Belt
My father and siblings have all been diagnosed with diabetes. I am in my early 50’s and started noticing my fasting sugars about 120-130. My A1c is 5.2. I decided to start making big changes in my lifestyle- walking 30 minutes every day, eating lower carb, adding fresh bitter melon, cinnamon and insulin plant to my diet. I have been taking 1 scoop a day with my morning beverage for about a week and my fasting sugars are now 104-106. I don’t know if it was the insulin plant that did it or a combination of everything but I am very happy with the result!! I feel like I have another tool to ward off diabetes-👍!Update- I have been using a little less than a scoop in my morning coffee every day. Checked my fasting sugar this morning and it was 103! I am super pleased as I haven’t been doing my usual walking for the past couple of months. I just ordered my third container! I am very thankful for this product.Second update- this product continues to work very well. I still take close to one scoop a day in my morning coffee- my fasting sugar is 102. I am super pleased so changed my rating from 4 stars to 5. I have also no side effects from taking this product and for me it is well worth the price. I have been taking it for several months now.Third update- my fasting sugars have been running as low as 93. I still use only one scoop a day in my morning coffee. Super product! So pleased! It seems to work even better over time.

Ingredients have changed
My husband has been using this product for a few years now. 2 months ago we could not buy it. It has been out of stock. We bought another brand that was available in stock. About the same price. That product was terrible. Powder was so very dark and tasted very bad. I saw our regular product was back in stock and available. Excited to see that. Got it today same package but product is very very dark and has a terrible taste. I don't know why they completely changed the ingredients in this product. But it's not and we will not be buying this again. I would really like to have an explanation.
