I just love this book, and the artist's work.

It's Pearls Before Swine, how can you go wrong? And since i lost my daily strip in the inbox for the first time i am reading a whole lot of these cartoons for the first time which makes it even more fun. Love me some Pearls and Breaking Stephan is no less good than normal.

I love Pearls Before Swine--my local paper only carries the strip on Sundays, so I have to get the books to see what other wittiness Stephan Pastis is sharing.

I came across my first pearls before swine a few years ago. It cracked me up, I love his humor. I would read the best ones over the phone to my husband. Worth buying!

Just love his fantastically clever but also cynical humor. Rat is every Republican right wing nut job (RWNJ), and I love how Stephan quietly skewers all of them...

Funny - love this comic - not published in local papers so buying the collection is a great way to keep up with the zany characters Pastis comes up with.

My 12-year-old loves the Pearls Before Swine strip, it's his absolute favorite. Personally, I find some of the jokes quite funny, especially the frequent puns and word play...but I also get tired of the recurring "pig is stupid, rat is a jerk" jokes.I do sometimes have to explain some of the jokes to him, because they are cultural references or are puns on phrases he's not familiar with. (w.g. "I'm too pretty to go to prison") And occasionally they seem on the edge of inappropriate for a kid.

I really enjoy Pearls Before Swine cartoons. I think he has a great sense of humour especially the puns.

I've recently just discovered the "Pearls before Swine" comic strips and they are a must read. The neighbourhood crocodiles are a personal favourite in their quest to eat the Zebra. Stephan Pastis is a comic genius and this collection of works are something to enjoy and treasure. I look forward to reading the other books available too. Classic!

Another wonderful collection of PBS material. I never tire of reading and re reading his strips. If your sense of humour trends to the off beat, then these collections are for you.
