Small but weighty.
Just got one of these and like the other 2 people it is not silver and gold but more titanium grey and gold, but what ever it looks stunning.Only the 1 shave so far but it felt good to hold being shorter than my other razor.Easy to fit blades into though I will say that the Astra blades seem to have a slightly sharp side edge that stick out. This however is a blade issue not the razor.It is quite weighty for it size but that, in my opinion, only makes it feel more substantial and not delicate.I'll try to remember to update this after a few more shaves but so far its definitely looking good.11/11/19Update.Annoyingly it would appear the plating is starting to come off the top after 7 months use, not every day I add.There are now what looks like 2 scratches in the top, 1 each side, that I can feel with my nail.Do not know how they got there as I didn't think my beard was THAT tough!This is what leads me to think the plating is coming off.

Piccolo = Small
Description doesn't make clear how small this razor is and doesn't mention it is the Piccolo/small razor. But it is made from Brass and weighs nicely in the hand Fatip are an aggressive razor I found after my first shave with this and an astra blade left me with a few nicks and major skin irritation... definitely not a beginners DE Shaver. Going back to my Edwin Jagger DE89 to allow my skin to recover before another attempt with this where I will be more careful and "ride The Cap" more!

A good razor, let down by Fatip's finishing
I like the performance of this razor a lot – both plates give comfortable and very efficient shaves. The finishing of the razor was fine when it arrived, but after just 2 months of use the black coating is starting to wear off on both the head and the handle. Very disappointing!Edit: I've added a photo of what the razor looks like now after 14 months. Many people have no issues, so don't let my coating issue put you off buying this razor.

Good ergonomics, build and value
Stunning gold/black finish, the handle is black not chrome as shown in the picture, build quality very good, no alignment issues at all, polished well, short handle makes it easier to handle especially when going against the grain.Comes with two bases open comb and closed - did not find it aggressive at all although efficient - the closed base make it similar to DE89 and Merkur 34C. even though the handle is shorter the weight is greater than these two.Highly recommended and good value from amazon

Refined to perfection.
I bought this razor after seeing some positive reviews on You Tube. The razor is amazing, the blade lines up perfectly & gives the best shave that I've ever had. I've got Merkur, Rockwell, Feather & Parker razors & I prefer this Fatip to all of them. Superb!

Looks Good
The handle is dark like part of the head, so the picture is not completely accurate. This safety razor looks very attractive. It is solid and very well made. Obviously, it gives a good close shave. The razor is expensive, so it's not great value for money, that's why I only gave 4 not 5 stars. If you want a sexy looking razor that gives a good shave go for a TaTip razor.

Good Razor, but Finish is not durable
Before buying the FaTip Picollo SE I have tried half a dozen DE razors. I regularly rotate my blades between about 20 different makes.I bought the FaTip Piccolo SE because I wanted to find out how a closed comb compares with an open comb which I had never tried before. The SE served this experiment well.First I figured out which blades work well with this razor. For me this was the Nacet with closed comb and the Voskhod with the open comb. The Astra SP was almost as good and worked on both comb. The otherwise excellent Feather blades, seem to have a bit too much exposure and did not work for me with this razor at all.The nice part of this razor is the selection of an open comb plate and the closed comb. I still prefer to shave with a closed comb, but I tend to shave all the time, with barely a visible stubble when I shave again. There's little benefit using an open comb in this case.However, the few times I did not shave for more than 2 days, I really noticed that the open comb had it's benefits, as the stubble approaches the blade with no deformation.I'd describe the shave with this razor as really good once I had the right blades. The only downside with the open comb was that I felt I needed to pass 3-4 times to get a close shave as the blade seems to barely cut where it touches the comb. I'm not sure if this is the same for other OC razors a this is my first.My only niggle with this razor is that it's beautiful finish did not last. The finishing on the top plate has been slightly damaged, exposing the metal. I've not dropped the razor or otherwise banged it anywhere so this is an annoyance, given it's been used for less than 9 months.
