I ordered the 4 inch versions of these and just finished installing six of them in my living room. Overall the quality for the price is well worth the purchase. The light is bright and finished look really flush and nice.A few notes about installation. You will need to buy some half inch connectors to fill the knock out holes in the black junction box. I refer the plastic ones that just pop in verses the metal connectors that you need to secure with a nut and then tighten down on the wire. Home depot has them.The 4 inch version does not allow you to push the black junction box into the ceiling if your stud is directly in the center of the hole you cut in the drywall etc. (Photo attached). Thank God I have attic access or this would have needed to cut drywall to get the wires over! If you purchase the 6 inch version then I don't think you will have this problem with a single stud; I never run into issues with the 6 inch version.These also come with wire nuts that are able to fit 2 wires under them but it is difficult. I used the provided wire nuts by cutting the copper to a shorter length after twisting the two 14 gauge wires together.Halo makes a version of this available at Home Depot. It does not require connectors and includes push in wire nuts... it's the best and easiest installation but they are also around $28 a piece. You can also change the color hue; you get what you pay for.Commercial electric also has these lights available for around $26 a piece. They do require wire nuts and connectors but you can change the hue as well.Overall these are well worth what you pay for them. Just make sure you get the right size and hue to fit your occasion... hope that helps...

The boxes where the connections are made is tiny. Difficult to spin the nut on the Romex connector. Use snap in style connectors. Wire nuts supplied might hold 2- 14 guage wires together,but forget about 12 guage so you have to use bigger connectors and its tight. If you're retrofitting with these it's nice to fish your lines from one hole you the next and make your connections without climbing in the attic but the square connection box is wider than the cut out hole for the light because it has wings on the sides. You have to cut slits in the side of the hole to get the box above the ceiling. Overall the cost saved to buy these is lost in time installing them. I will not buy these again.

I like these lights from Sunco. They are an American brand and a good value too.They are almost half as much as other name brand versions.I really like the 3000K versions for residential use. The warm (but not too warm like 2700K) light is welcoming and relaxing, yet provides good task lighting around the home.What you don't get with them that comes with other more expensive brands:- Wago wire connectors or similar quick wire splicing connectors. What you do get is 3 orange wire nuts.- Bushings to go in the knock out holes. You will need to purchase your own.- Selectable color temperatures. I like the dedicated single color ones better as their light looks better to me.You do have to invest a little more time up front to install these but they are good quality.Things I like:- The light is nice. Good color, output and spread.- The spring clips that hold the LED in place are strong and pull it tight to the ceiling.- Fits into a 4" hole.- The J-Box fits into a 4" hole sideways with ease. I don't know why another reviewer said it didn't fit. Not true.Overall I like these and will probably purchase them again for the next job. I would recommend them to others.5 stars. If they were more expensive I would probably only give them 4 stars. As is I consider them a good value.

Soffit installation is quite easy. I had a very dark area on one side of my house and Sunco offered a very affordable solution. I actually bought the brighter (5000K watts) ones but found they were too bright. It was very easy to interchange the lens to the 3000K watt light. They are very slim and will fit in a shallow area. It really updates the house and is an easy DIY project. They have been working trouble free for 2 monthsJust added a dusk to dawn sensor and it works awesome with very little electric load. Going to finish going around the whole house.

Received the plastic led lights and plastic junction box unlike my other lights that I received the metal led lights that won’t break when u bring back the springs to fit light onto soffits or sheet rock I didn’t even pull it back all the way and snap broke 4 lights out of 12 not sure why they are making them out of plastic this will be a big problem with installation

I've had these lights installed for approximately nine months and so far five of the twelve lights have failed. I contacted customer service when the first light failed, and they were prompt and quickly replaced it.When the other lights failed, they required me to send the them in for inspection. They said it would take a few days to start the replacement process. They've had the lights now for nineteen days. I've emailed customer service, twice, to check the status of the replacements, and I've gotten no response.As of right now, almost half of the lights in my kitchen are out, and I'm afraid the others will fail soon. I bought these lights because of the great reviews and the warranty. Since these lights have failed so quickly and I cannot reach customer service, I cannot recommend these lights and would caution others to avoid.

I have purchased 48 total 4” recessed lights 24 back in September and 24 again a couple weeks ago from my initial order 9 were faulty I’ve emailed 6 times and they are not responding the light has a 7yr warranty and can’t last a few months the are easy to install but for what I’ve seen not reliable and the company is definitely not responsive.

bought to install in living room, but was sent the wrong colour (4000k instead of 2700k)Decided to try it out anyway, but everything was just not as good quality as seen in other slightly more expensive lights. Dimming works, but you can see the individual LEDs once you dim down a bit.These would be fine if not dimming, or for a garage or basement, but would not recommend for main living area.

The Clips are plastic and could break if too much force is used.I tried to install 1 light, but end up breaking a clip. I had to return it for another brand.The LED light itself was bright and the colour was warm. Clips are a downfall.

Super produit, beau bon pas cher. Cependant, j’ai réalisé après coup que le boîtier électrique était en plastique (oui c’est indiqué..) mais j’aurais préféré en métal... c’est personnel. Sinon beau produit. La luminosité est chaude et le fitting est minimaliste.

The written description of the product and the photos above obviously do not match. I have ordered them twice having received the wrong product both times. The product delivered is not a 5”/6” rather a 6”+ and 3000k warm not 5000k daylight. So if you care about size and specs do not order this product based on the description.
