Definitely heat protective, can’t feel anything. And you still have 2 free fingers for easier styling.

The gloves are a good thickness however thats where my satisfaction stopped. They're small (short fingers) and there is so much fabric in the seam that a good 1cm of the finger tip cant be used. Also, the description says GLOVES, plural. This is only one glove for the right hand. I used my left hand. Yes, it can be flipped if you can get your hand in it but it's not designed with the fastening. The velcro is strong which would make it secure. Overall, I feel I've wasted my money. I only gave it 2 stars for the materials it's made from are good. The description is misleading implying it's a pair, the size and quality of finish are disappointing.
