Just what the doctor ordered - comfort seating.
This is a very nice product for many different uses. I purchased this for a small laptop computer stand and desk. It fits perfectly and creates a home computer center with a minimum footprint. I use peripherals and a printer in another room through a home wifi network and keep this tiny computer center in a family room.Pros:Appropriately priced.Very comfortable if you don't need a backrest. All black and very attractive.Easy to assemble without any tools.Well designed and made with quality materials.Adjustable height for different persons or different tables/desks.Easy to move about; enables full range of motion as you work.Cons:Black is the only color choice.Price has just increased at Amazon but still a good buy.Trying to think of any new cons.

no assembly instructions, seat doesnt stay
Well, it looks and feels sturdy in its parts. But mine didn't come w/anything to hold the seat to the column, no screws no nothing, plus the hydralic stick has nothing to grab to. virtually no instructions. i have to return it...

Good Stool - Revised Review
REVISEDI revised my review from 1 to 4 stars (title was Can't Assemble It), after my non-mechanical self spent a few days figuring out my problems. My original review is below for reference. I figured out how to put in the wheels with my one usable hand after some trial and error, with a small hammer and angling the base, so striking with the hammer was in a reasonably straight line, the sockets of plastic seem to be strong enough. The seat does indeed sit on top of the lever, which when turned upright is "connected" by gravity, and the seat adjusts up and down nicely. Since I also have one leg compromised, rolling on carpet doesn't work well, but that is no problem, simply stand and move to new spot. Rolls easily on wood or vinyl floor. Would recommend to stroke patients or any others for whom a compact, easily moved stool would be helpful. Not tippy, user just needs to roll whatever way works, seat comfortable but solid enough so user doesn't slide off. Good quality and materials. Would be 5 stars if instructions were more helpful.ORIGINALAppears to be a good product, but it's worthless unless it can be assembled. There are no instructions, only a parts list, unless I get some answers quick, it's going back. Very disappointed, if it's not obvious, should have instructions.1. No clue how to connect the handle and the cylinder to each other, it's not a slip in or snap in. Useless and probably unsafe with no raise or lower function.2. There are also no tips on the rollers. They are just a snap-in so probably not a fair criticism. I only have one hand, however, and the rollers are too asymmetrical and the fit too tight to just snap in with one hand. Any ideas? Would positioning all 5 rollers in the holes and sitting on the upright stool snap them in? I'm afraid to try that because of the chance of breaking a hole if all 5 don't go in at once.Any help appreciated.

For me I like it!
I looked at a lot of adjustable height stools with wheels and I pick this one. I tig weld in my garage home work shop and I needed a stool with the features this one has. The stool foot ring is made out of thick plastic where the 5 wheels plug into and is fairly robust and I think it will hold up well. I found it to be great for getting me into posistion for tig welding at my table. For the price I don't think you can beat it. I am 6 feet tall weigh 180 pounds and find this stool comfortable. The stool rolls and moves around extreamly well and I like the foot ring because its low and I can hook the heal of my shoe on it for comfort. The adjustable seat hight is from 17" to 21". The writing on the bottom of the seat and stem says it made in Taiwan, by SHS Samhongsa

Very nice
Happy with it.First thing I noticed taking it out of the box is that the components feel very solid in your hand. All components are very good quality. Tool-less assembly is a breeze; it was actually fun.Stool operates exactly how you want it to: great, responsive lift, smooth caster and swivel action. I plan to use it periodically throughout the day for 5-10 minutes at a shared workstation - I think its going to be a perfect fit for that sort of use. Would get a second one if a need arose.

Attractive, Comfortable, and Convenient
Because I have a foot injury, I find it uncomfortable to stand for any period of time. My bathroom doesn't haven't a vanity to sit at, and standing in the morning doing my make-up and hair was a major pain.I found this stool on Amazon and liked the look, the foot rest, and the all-black design. My sink cabinet is only about 4 feet wide, and I was afraid this stool was going to be too big--in the way.But the stool worked out perfectly. The foot rest "ring" fits under the toe kick of the cabinet, so it take up less room than I anticipated. I just roll it off to one end of the cabinet, next to the wall, so it is not in my way when not in use. When sitting on the stool in front of the sink, I have counter top on both sides of the sink to accommodate my make-up, make-up mirror, curling iron, etc. Perfect set up for comfortable primping. So glad I purchased it! I will enjoy comfortable primping long after the foot injury has healed.

Great stool
This stool is sturdy and good looking. It is super easy to assemble. It is a bit hard if you have limited space cause you may constantly kick the foot support.

Perfect for our clinic.
These stools are easy to assemble, roll well over carpet or hard surface, and are a nice comfortable seat. I am planning on purchasing a couple more for our exam rooms. Seem sturdy and well made and I expect they will last a long time.
