A very good product.
A very good boullion for seasoning. The powder easily desolves. Sodium free makes it a great product with out the extra salt intake. Delish.

Yeah!! Sodium Free!
I use this in cooking many things and I don't have to worry about the salt. Same great flavor as the other one just no salt. We get enough salt in everything we eat, maybe too much salt. So I cut down where I can, this is why I use this. I purchase several at a time and I think the price is reasonable. I can't usually find Sodium Free at the market, so this is a good find.

Great product, poor packing
Great flavor and easy to use. Being on a sodium-limiting diet, this is a product I use a lot. Had to do "agressive prep" for a medical procedure recently, and this made the days leading up to it flavorful, if not filling <grin>.Problem is in the packing for shipment. While sold by a third party, listing says it shipped from Amazon. So, Amazon, this paragraph is for you. Looks like the warehouse took 2 jars and taped them together. The issue is that they used a tape that, as you can see in the photo, is tearing the label while I'm separating the jars: careless of them, at best. I can't say whether the jar lid on right was broken in packing or in shipment, but the plastic envelope mailer provides limited protection for glass jars. Maybe next time it's the jar that will be broken. Why not use a small box with those air bags when shipping glass?

Good Flavor and Sodium-Free
I’ve been using Herb-Ox products for a long time, but recently decided to take a closer look at my sodium intake. Traditional bouillons have a lot of salt in them. This one does not and has a lot more flavor than other sodium-free bouillon products. I’m very happy I found this on Amazon, since I can’t get it locally.

Love it
This stuff is just the best you can get the best flavor the most Unami tasting food with no salt so easily I make my own Unami powder and I use a couple of jars of this stuff mixed with mushroom powder and it’s mushroom powder that I make I don’t buy it because the stuff you buy usually has salt and and it cost a fortune. I buy a big bag of dried Asian shiitake mushrooms and blitz some in my ninja, I had a little bit of sugar black pepper, Worcestershire powder and soy powder, mix it all up in the ninja and I have a ton of Unami powder that has very little salt. The only salt comes from the soy powder and the Worcestershire powder and we use it on absolutely everything. Of course it’s on its own and I used it for years to on its own seasoning everything with it but when I started seeing umami powders with tons of salt in them, and when Unami became popular, then I thought I can make something like Unami powder and I did. FYI, the beef and the vegetable sodium free ones are great too. I use the beef and mix it with the chicken a lot if I’m making the unami powder. I also use the beef when I buy all hamburger meat or shave steak and mix it into the meat and it gives it a much more meaty taste and of course goes into chili and sloppy Joe’s too.

No sodium but not no salt. Has lots of potassium.
It says sodium free. It is sodium free. It isn’t unsalted. The label on Amazon is not the same as the label on the product I received. My jars report 280mg potassium per 8oz broth in the chicken and 380mg of potassium per 8oz broth in the beef. This amount of potassium can be very bad for some people. Would have been nice if it were just salt-free so I could add the amount of either salt as I choose. I am switching back to LOW Sodium broth. Many of these have 100-130mg of sodium per 8oz while normal broths have ~800-1200mg per 8oz broth. Check out Knorr.
