As soon as I walked in the party, people asked if I was entering the costume contest because I've already won. All eyes were on me! This set did not disappoint. The added feathers on the wrist & ankles (from Amazon as well) complimented the feather cape very well. I have a lot of hair but I wore a ponytail and had no issues with the headpiece. The cape hid the ponytail very well. Oh, to make the horns more sturdy I stuffed a few grocery bags in each then used the styrofoam pieces that came with it. The cap didn't lay flat to my head but it didn't look bad at all. My ears did sweat a little but I was able to wipe them off as needed since the cap wasn't too tight. Even though the cap looked tight, it was surprisingly comfy. A big hit!!

This was perfect for my Maleficent costume. I have never had so many complements on a costume before. I will say that the headpiece is rubbery which is actually perfect for staying on the head. But the horns needed something more in the ends to stuff them or they are a bit deflated looking even with the rubber-ish shell being thick. I also have a ton of hair which is to my rear. I ended up putting my hair in taller cinnamon roll style pigtails toward the front of my head. I situated them carefully where the horns started and removed the thick foam tube from inside so my hair was replacing that. I found out that my thick black cotton headband under it was the perfect addition so it fit nice and tight while also giving me a bit of a sweat barrier. It can get a little stuffy around the hair area! I plan to use what another purchaser mentioned and try to spray-foam inside the ends of the horns next time. My fleece socks that I stuffed up there at the last minute worked ok, but it would be great to have a more permanent filling for them. I would purchase again!! I have a 7 yr old who was obsessed with the horns and they fit her head also, a child really could wear these even without the addition of a thick headband. The material is pretty pliable.Oh and the feather cape was beautiful. I only lost a few feathers the entire day. I wore it at work and that was with a cat that kept biting at me like I was a large bird! Lol

(headpiece)so, based on reviews, this seemed like a pretty decent product and the biggest complaint from other was it was snug on their heads.in my opinion, based on the fact i have 3ft long hair and a large head, it really wasn’t as bad as the reviews seemed. i french braided my hair and pinned it and wore a wig cap underneath, and it was pretty comfortable.with that being said, i sweated a lot with it on, but i didn't notice until i took it off at the end of the night. but that’s to be expected when wearing a rubbery/latex material.i got compliments all night on it.(neck piece)it really brought the outfit together.it is very awkward, and flips up occasionally if you lift your arms/shoulders. i had to have it re-tied multiple times. i only lost maybe 3 feathers in 5 hours so that’s not bad.it was not itchy or uncomfortable.for the price, this was a great purchase. i was very impressed.

I bought the Horns and feather cape shawl combo. The feathers added something special to my Maleficent costume. It looks elegant and also very sturdy. Didn't lose one feather when worn to a Halloween party. It was pretty comfortable and didn't experience any black dye residue on my neck like previous reviewers. Only slight negative was the tie gets a little loose and shawl shifts after wearing a while but not a big deal.I ended up buying a different set of Maleficent horns at the seasonal Halloween store. The horns purchased here worked ok and the cap part fit perfect. But I like the look of a more angled horns compared to the almost straight antennae like look from this order.This is a high quality product that's worth the price and would recommend purchasing from this seller.

The product is well made and held up for the entire evening during Halloween. It did squeeze my head, which helped keep it on, however by the end of the evening I couldn’t wait to get it off. I did use the piggy bank basketball to stretch it out for a few weeks prior to use and that definitely helped.Overall, it was the perfect addition to my costume and I would certainly recommend it for anyone who wants to be Maleficent!

This was pretty cute. The feather collar was absolutely the standout Item in this pair. However, the horns did the job well enough. They fit my head really well and I didn't have to do much to my hair to get it all to work. No pins required. My biggest problem was that the horns are pretty floppy, and I ended up stuffing them with cotton to get them to stand up straight. They also felt quite a lot bigger in person, too.

Take my advice, toss the crappy foam that comes with these and stuff with cotton balls!Gives perfect shape and lightweight!I feel absolutely amazing in this and can’t wait to get photos taken.

As Halloween costumes go, this one is impressive while being simple. You just need your own gown, cape, dress, etc to go with it. The headdress is pretty comfortable, will see if it stays on all night but really just needs to make a good entrance. I have short gray hair and it's perfect - if you have a lot of hair I'm not sure where you'd put it. The feather cape is great - lost a few feathers off the bat but seems durable.ETA: It travelled in my suitcase with no problem - fits in a normal roller bag. I left the foam support in the horns and wore it that way. The headdress wears like a thick swim cap - stays on no problem, whether you can wear it all night is more of an issue of how long you can tolerate it. It was a big win - as I overheard a child, "Mommy, look, it's Maleficent!"
