I really like how this book presents its information. I recommend this book to others looking to study color.

This is a well-written resource! I have been a quilter for over 15 years, but I always seem to have difficulty creating original quilts in which I am happy with the color combinations. This book, written specifically for fiber artists, provides instructions and examples in every area of design (different color schemes, luminosity, transparency, depth & dimension, color temperature, value & texture, size & scale, and so much more). I have found this book to be so useful in helping me to create artistically pleasing quilts! I highly recommend this book. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

I really enjoyed this book. It helped me learn a lot about colors, their properties and how to combine them, which is exactly what I was looking for.The title misled me about, and maybe it's my own ignorance, but I read fiber artist and associate that with FIBER arts - knitting, weaving, felting, crocheting etc. I would consider quilting a FABRIC art, but perhaps, in the industry, there is no such distinction. It did make me want to learn to quilt though!! Some of the examples were truly breathtaking... Not your typical log cabin or old colonial grandma quilts, that's for sure!!

Half way through. It has lots.of pictures and great explanations. Geared for quilters

Explanations are very clear, many pictures for explanations and eye candy. Heather Thomas' exercises truly hone in color/design points. My friend and I working through the exercises together and are enjoying the outcome.

Just when u think u understand color, this book surprises u with logic and color harmony. A very through and easy to understand book with great pictures and exercises.
