The candy tastes as if it is imported from Europe - Swedish or Belgian - and is delicious.The candy is individually wrapped which makes it a perfect gift for an office or a get together with family and friends. I would recommend this as it is far superior to other chocolatiers....however, I would suggest very strongly that this company must place a seal on the outer box and the inner tin for security about the food item inside.We are always happy to support small businesses and this company will go very far - as the presentation is impressive and the candy is quality.

I was actually planning to buy myself some chocolate and buy myself some tin storage containers. Turns out storage containers are weirdly expensive. So I bought this - chocoalte and a storage tin! I was unsure about the chocolate because I've never had this brand.1- the chocolate is good. It is not fabulous. I like it, and I am enjoying it, but it's not mind blowing. But it's worth what I paid, so I'm happy.2- the individual packaging is good and bad. I'm a single woman, so the individual packaging is nice because it'll last for quite a while. If I lived with other people I'd share the chocolate with, the plastic would be wasteful. I don't, so I appreciate the options it gives me. Also, it makes number 3 easier ;-)3- storage tins are expensive. This tin is very pretty and came with chocolate! I was able to easily put the individually wrapped packages in a bowl and start using the tin. It looks pretty on my shelf. I plan to buy more chocolates specifically so I can get a very sturdy, easily to re-use tin.I highly recommend this for folks who aren't serious chocolate snobs. It doesn't taste like gertrude hawk, but I'd put it in the gertrude hawk level of tasty. It's not fancy imported from switzerland chocolate, but again, I don't think anyone buying this expects it to be. It is better than a mr goodbar. The one disappointment was that I love toffee and this toffee was fine, just ... fine. That was disappointing.

So this was pretty good overall. One star off because most of it - while good - did not taste that much different from, say, a Whitman's Sampler that costs almost a third of this. It was maybe a little fresher.There were a few standouts. The maple cream and peppermint patty bonbons were really flavorful. The double-dark was also very good, and this even though I am not a dark chocolate fan. A few others were different enough that I could tell it wasn't just cheap grocery store chocolate. And also: this is American-style chocolate for the most part, in case you care about that.I knocked it down a star because more than half of it tasted almost exactly like what I can get more cheaply (though again, that's not saying it was bad). It was also very sugary, maybe a little overmuch.The tin is very classy and nice, each piece was individually wrapped with its type printed on the plastic wrapping, and the cardboard box it came in is attractive and of good quality. Full marks for that. It elevated the experience a little.If you are just looking for chocolate to enjoy, this would certainly be fine but you can probably do a little better elsewhere. Go for something without a tin so you aren't paying for more than you need.If you are looking to gift somebody some chocolate, though, this WOULD be a really good gift and probably make most people quite happy, unless they are super-picky about their sweets and demand the highest quality. I definitely recommend buying this for others if the price point is good for your budget.

Amazing flavor and texture. Not a lot of fillers. Seems as homemade as you can get. The people that I give these for gifts absolutely love them. They taste like they made them yesterday.

What A beautiful presentation of your chocolate! I loved the story behind it. Very delicious in all major ways. We enjoyed it for Easter.Def would recommend to everyone that loves chocolate!

I ordered the bronze box for my husband for Valentine’s Day. What a HUGE hit! Unlike other chocolates, these come in a very nice tin and they are each individually wrapped. EVERY single one of these was delicious! My husband and several family members all commented on how wonderful they were. I honestly didn’t know that this was a mother/daughter owned company until we opened the tin. We will definitely buy these again for gifts and for ourselves! What a treat!

This was a gift I sent to my son for his academic achievement in college back East. He absolutely loved it and loved that the treats were individually wrapped. Great chocolate products!!
