Good value. Full power
The quality of Makita tools is so good that it is a shame to concile them to the trash bin because the battery no longer works. But the price of the genuine battery replacement is so high that is what usually happens.I have several Makita drills and other tools and these economy priced batteries has made them all useful again. I cannot talk yet about their longevity as my first set is only about a year old, but they certainly work well with full power and satisfactory battery life. Using 8 mm cobalt bits, and occasionally 10 and bigger with stepped bits, I can drill dozens of holes in thick steel before changing batteries. When drilling holes in wood, they never seem to go dead.Buy these batteries and give new life to your old Makita tools - you will not be disappointed.

Good replacement batteries
I bought these to replace older batteries for my Makita cordless drill and driver which would not hold a charge for long. I have rebuilt battery packs for these drills in the past but for the price of these replacement batteries, there was no cost/time benefit for a rebuild at this price point. Time will tell if they last as long as my last off-brand replacements but so far the result on performance and longevity have been excellent. They appear to hold their charge for weeks when I haven't used the drill for a while but for normal household repair and workshop tasks they provide great torque power longevity. As my drills are pretty old, this may be the last time I replace batteries for these Makitas but for now, they'll probably give me a few more years of life out of these tools! I will update if they fall short of my expectations.

Price is right, work well
These batteries are working well. They hold a charge a long time and recharge quickly. I think my drill has more power using these.

Good value
They fit perfectly and both were charged. I didn't want to buy a new drill and these were what I needed. Time will tell if they last as expected.

Great customer service
Bought batteries for both a 12v Makita drill and a 9.6v drill. One of the 9.6v batteries was defective. Customer service jumped in and replaced the battery with a good one. All batteries work great. These are upgraded 3.6 amp/h from thr original 1.5.

I returned 2 batts and was sent 2 new ones.
I didn't use them for a while and thought these were bad as well. I began to wonder how one could thoroughly test them in 30 days.It was my charger I wish you would have me check the output 12vdc the 1st time. It probably went out gradually.Anyway after 3 months you offered to replace them anyway.I'm ashamed. But I got to solve a problem. Please cancel this return replace.Yours FoolyHarlan

Not as good as the original Makita baterries
I purchased a 2 pack, one of the batteries works great but the other only holds about a 50% charge.
