So I have to say for years I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect vanilla, sparing no expense to find the most delicious ingredients. I have tried different formations of the Nielsen Massey with a lot of disappointment.The Sonoma Syrups Vanilla Extract Blend is hands down my quintessential baking secret weapon.. Every bite of my chocolate chunk cookies made with this is like all other level epicurean magic. Seriously, the blend of the different beans and the quality of this product is the best. Give it a shot if you’re looking for the best.

Deeelicious!
I use this product in all sorts of things but the flavor really shows off in homemade ice cream. This is probably my fifth bottle. Oddly, I bought the other version without the actual vanilla bean in it, although same flavor, and although I couldn't tell the difference, my husband could and much prefers this one. We are making ice cream constantly now so we go through it fast, if you don't, it might be a good idea to keep it in the refrigerator, although it's not necessary.

First ingredient is Oil of Bitter Almond, not water or alcohol like most brands.
This is by far the best almond extract on the market I have used. It is three simple ingredients: Oil of Bitter Almond, Alcohol, and Water. The flavor stands out and doesn't have all the additives that are found in some of the other bands on the market. Other "pure" almond extracts have ingredient lists that read: water, alcohol, and then Bitter Almond Oil. Pay for more oil (flavor) not more water.

Expensive…
I just got my almond extract delivered today and as soon as I opened the box, the fragrance of the extract immediately filled the air. I am in love, LOVE already!!! I am planning on baking this weekend and will update my review. Although, the cost of this product was a little steep, may be, the end product will be worth it. Stay tuned…

My favorite Vanilla for almost a decade
I first found this 8 years ago and love it. Good vanilla flavor and very consistent product.
